Not sure if this is the one but Holly heads off stage with the hand held camera guy desperately trying to keep ahead of him in the tumult with Michael Hurll shouting into microphone from the gallery telling the cameraman to for god's sake keep him in shot.

There was one performance where Holly starts by pretending to read The Scum newspaper, before ripping it up.

This is a good idea for a TV Show, they normally stick this kind of thing away on the Red Button.

It costs next to nothing to make, just stick a few cameras into the Radio 1 studios.

    Coldplay and now The Script?!

This show has taken a bad turn :(

Don't know if you can get BBC 6Music in Ireland (let alone the player) but it's worth listening back to the weekly John Peel documentaries - highlights from his shows from each decade.

    It's the 90's this Sunday at 1pm :)

Yes, you can get the BBC Radio channels on a multitude of plaforms here. I highly recommend a lot of the nightly music docs on BBC6 Music. You can either listen back on the website or through the BBC iPlayer app on your phone (which also carries all the channels live).

There's been some good ones all this week focusing on record producers - George Martin, Chris Thomas and Bill Symymvkmykck :D

The TOTP audience having a great time, whilst in fear of being run over by the cameraman.

Just watched BBC Four's Bolan documentary, featuring an appearance from Ireland's very own BP Fallon, dressed like an undertaker.

And by the looks of him, for his own funeral.

    Kidding.

    :pac:

And now to Sky Arts :D

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,444 ✭✭✭✭Skid X

John Peel popped up there on the Sky Arts Marc Bolan Doc.

Peel and Bolan were good friends at one point, Peel goes on about Bolan for ages in his autobiography. But they drifted apart when Bolan became proper famous and Peel decided then that he wasn't going to be friends with Rock Stars anymore.

This show is a bit light on actual Bolan/T Rex footage, either by accident or design.

'A-Z Of Later...With Jools Holland' on now.

How long will it take for Ruby Turner to make an appearance :D

Hard to believe Later first aired in 1992 :O

I assume Right Said Fred, KWS and Ugly Kid Joe were on the first show, 'accidentally' wiped by the Beeb :D

Morrissey refusing to respond to the opening line of a Knock Knock Joke shocker.

He really is a miserable git.

R is for Rowland Rivron, only seen on Hootenanny with people still puzzled as to what he actually does.

To be fair, he also does other things ... like the shortlived Breakfast Show 'Earlier With Jools Holland'!
