Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Regular captain Francois Venter starts for the Cheetahs in the centre.

That's one hell of a bench to have. Looking forward to this match, especially how the starting 15 performed last week glad to see them get another belt.

I'm going to watch their currie cup team in Newlands tomorrow, and I'll catch this game in the pub outside right after. Might be some fans around which could be fun.

Fair play for making the trip!

Cheetahs looked like they had the ability to tear a team apart last week against Ulster. Their problem was that they didn't seem too concerned about defending so it'll be interesting to see how they approach it today.

Fair play to Marcus Horan, learning the cúpla focal.

I regularly saw the Italians ordering pizzas topped with chips and slices of hotdog - but I was the barbarian when I ordered ham and pineapple?

Where do these people get their f**king balls? <hand thing>

Nice try by Tommy, poor defense though

Beautiful pass from Sweetman to put wooton in for a nice try. 17-3 to Munster, 21 mins gone. Great conversion from keats

    Good finish by Wootton.

Wootton backed himself there, nice try

Must be an emotional return to Thomond for jerseys with TOYOTA written on them.

The Cheetahs cant kick for ****

John Hayes could kick better than Cheetahs' left winger.

I think the injury to the #8 was a non-contact injury? He turned and went down immediately.

Cheetahs look somewhat amateurish to be honest. This could be a drubbing.

That looked pretty sore in the replay...

It's common enough on menus around Northern Italy last time I was there, looks gank to me. Years ago I was convinced by my wife to have someone Hawaiian pizza and I actually quite like it.

Is that stand beyond the Cheetas tryline under construction?

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,790 ✭✭✭✭Burkie1203

Why is keatley wearing different patches on his jersey

  • Registered Users Posts: 837 ✭✭✭Subpopulus

Did Wooton actually touch that down?

Edit: He did - I thought he dropped after he tried to move in towards the post

Aye, only half watching it. Was hoping for more from the cheetahs.

Good chance for try of the weekend right there.

Man those cheetahs are fast. Like greyhounds or something.

    Their kicking is appalling.

Farrell in for potential try, being checked for obstruction.

Farrell looks a very good signing based on the last 2 games, fast, powerful, smart, decent pass

  • Registered Users Posts: 837 ✭✭✭Subpopulus

Wooton's having a lively game. He seems to be a very smart player...

Edit: And he deserves his hat-trick.

He was determined to make an offload earlier, come what may. Hat trick now, his kick and chase had been exceptional.

Hat trick for him, hard to tell just how fast he is given how fast the cheetahs are

Time for a cricket score. They have no defense. Their back three are hopeless.

Wootton always seem to find space and take the right options...give him the ball and he'll score

Munster have played with very little intensity since around the 15 minute mark. Not that they can't or don't want to, they just don't need to. Cheetahs have no interest in building phases or pressure. They look dangerous at times between the 22's but otherwise it's tag rugby stuff.

They have absolutely no interest in the breakdown. There are without a doubt lads on here that could do a better job of slowing ball.

Munster almost look like they are trying not to be too hard on them. Could have done 100 points here.

I hope the SA teams are better at home like the French. This is dire.

  • Registered Users Posts: 837 ✭✭✭Subpopulus

I know we've played two teams that are defensively very weak but I'm excited by our back play so far. Good passing, speed, kicking. A hungry, competitive bunch of lads - Zebo, Conway, Earls, Sweetnam, Wooton all looking for the same places.

I'd say he'll be on strictly dirttracker duty.

Fair play to zebo there, running on an arc but never gave up, great try

I hope altitude is a factor. The Cheetahs will need it. Their defense is nonexistent.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 4,871 ✭✭✭budhabob

Keatley has a very good game, good kicking, great passing, and some good carries.

  • Registered Users Posts: 837 ✭✭✭Subpopulus

That Cheetahs re-start was embarrassing. Could be a very long season for the SA teams.

And aren't Kings supposed to be the weaker of the two?

I feel like I want my money back and I wasn't even at the game.

  • Registered Users Posts: 837 ✭✭✭Subpopulus

'They were a lot better than we were expecting' says Wooton.

They must have had extremely low expectations of the Cheetahs.
