The GOTD code still works, it sems to have just replaced the other one.

Heads up for anybody that went for the 50GB version, that code is only good for a year, however the 60GB is lifetime licence (as long as they decide is a 'lifetime').
The code can be used to upgrade, so there is no need to create a new account.

Just used it now to upgrade the 50GB account I setup last week :) Cheers!

Set up a free 50GB account back in March for some reason.

The Android app (currently in alpha) is working fine for me

The free version is limited to One active device at a time!

If you setup on rooter, you could get around this limitation!
Edit: - Sorry needs pro account as well.

The Pro account is unlimited devices!

Do you not need the pro account to set up the router?

Yes sorry, didn't check that far before.

Android (OpenVPN/Strongswan app) was clearly marked as Pro Only!
But the beta android app works.

Anyone else get a message on the chrome addon warning that the service can take over your internet connection and is snooping on everything you type etc asking if you want to leave it in place or restore to normal settings?

I do not use chrome, but i would hazard a guess that it is chrome telling you that chrome can no longer spy on you, and Windscribe is blocking it/taking over your connection.

Of course it is taking over your internet connection, it is a VPN.
Are you sure it is not saying that it could snoop on you?

If you use both the desktop and browser extension, make sure both are connected to a UK server. Or disable one of them.

Have the 60gb offer working, but regardless of what I do iPlayer won't work.

Iplayer has been down on across several vpn and dns services the last few days. It seems to be fixed now.

You can get a lifetime subscription for $34.99 (C|Net Promotion) offer through stacksocial, when you apply promo code scribe5 at checkout.

Wrong deal linked, the above is a very old offer!

Try this Link for $38 instead!

Good deal. Reviews of the third party vendor involved would make you think twice though

I got three years from Cult of Mac for $22 here. There's also five years for $39 or a lifetime deal for $49 (10 years). Code worked instantly. There's another option for a lifetime VPN to RA4W (know nothing about them). RA4W have less servers available and none in Ireland.
