TA that certain mods on power trips (no one in particular, mind you) felt it appropriate to pick on a poor, innocent poster like that ^^^ one.

    I'm confused. What's this about?

Watching RTE News and an incident in Cork. They show Cork University Hospital and the bilingual sign on the building. In the Irish version the letter e has fallen off. The fada over the e is there but there is a vacant space under it. Looks like a word from a foreign language.

I woke up with the worst headache in recent memory... vicious. It's like a hangover headache only I wasn't drinking. I even feel nauseous now too. Can't tell if that's because of the severity of the headache or I'm actually coming down with something.
The Panadol reduced it a bit but it's still there lurking and ready to come back with a vengeance.... and now I'm 90 minutes into a 15 hour shift. Fúck this day.

If you have ibuprofen, you can safely take those on top of the paracetamol. The two together are fantastic relief. Loada fluids too, in case you're coming down with something.

    TA'd at headaches. They're miserable. :(

TA'd that I can't quite decide if making a joke about the thread needing a New Home is pushing things too far off-track!

Also ta'd that I'm still unsure if I'm going to find a mouse corpse somewhere hidden in the bathroom after the scene of bloody destruction that was in there the other morning with no corpse to account for all the blood (I hope the cat just ate it, but I fear going in and absently standing on some pathetic ball of innards.)

I did exactly that, yesterday. Reminds me of another TA. It doesn't help that the cat strews mice across the drive and it probably looks baby like rats if you didn't look closely. My neighbour's dog marking my front door is the finishing touch to the delightful atmosphere.

It probably was a foreign language. In fact it's a wonder it's not translated into every language under the sun for fear of not offending someone.

I have been studying for the past while and attended my graduation today. I didn't bring a guest but a lot, but not all, of the graduates brought partners and children...and toddlers and babies. The graduates were to the front of the hall and the families were at the back. Might as well have been a creche at the back of the hall with the crying and wailing and running around and one child even had either an ipad or a musical toy. I wouldn't mind but there was an announcement at the beginning of proceedings to turn off our mobiles as there were guest speakers. I for one was very distracted from the speeches by the noise behind me. Very TA'd.

It reminds me of something out of a Terry Pratchett book !

TA, I have no patience with one person in my life right now. I don't think I show it, I wouldn"t hurt their feelings for the world, but I wind up feeling really guilty at my irritated thoughts after spending time with them:(
