Some of the keys on the keyboard of my laptop are fucked so I'm using my phone more for boards but that means no multi quoting and it's really TA me.

I love eating nuts but my wisdom teeth are only partially erupted so the nuts are stuck in irritating places:mad:

If you go to bottom of screen on mobile site and press "Full site" you get all the functionality I think

I didn't know what it was until I googled it. Then I realised it was on all the time in our hotel room on holidays in Italy.

Some people don't ever listen to pop music, you know, it's not that inconceivable :pac:

I listen to the radio and watch tv a lot, just not any stations that would play up to date pop. And don't follow anyone on FB that would post that song. So, I'm another one that has never heard it. And by it being super duper mega massive on YouTube, I don't think I ever will :D

Unless I live at least another 50 years and it becomes "classic"
    lol

    ''after the fight:

''he's such a hero, a brilliant fighter, honoured to face him''.

i get it, its theatre, they have to out dick each other. still TA.

I'm a big cynic and admittedly know nothing about boxing and mma but I think the whole thing was planned by the 2 of them. They made a bag of money each, Mayweather got to look good, McGregor got to look good, they generated new interest in the 2 sports and they generated a load of money for the various organisations involved.

I've never heard it. Have heard some parody of it and that confirmed I hadn't heard it.

I never listen to pop radio (2FM is for people with high tolerance for abject stupidity), I haven't taken a taxi in God knows how long, the radio in the Turkish barber I go to is on Radio Kerry (!), the local supermarket plays a medley of older stuff, and haven't been out in the only local late bar that might play it since Easter...there are no circumstances in which I'd hear it.

Correct and the saps who ponied up to watch the charade didn't even realise they were being ripped off.

There's nowt as stupid as folk, one has to observe.

What annoys me is they don't even recognise a con trick.

People assuming that other people have been on the Moon because they've never heard of some eejit of a youngfella singing a song on Ye Tube of You. No, I had no idea who this Gazpacho chappie was until he was mentioned yesterday. I listen to Radio 1 or Newstalk in the car, and don't watch scheduled TV. The local t'Woolpack plays endless oldies on Spotify when Reeling In The Years or Sky Sports News isn't on. When people under 30 talk to me most of it is automatically filtered out. :D

<EDIT> Just looked at it there - it's quite good, nice Latino sound. That gal in the denim shorts is some build of a woman, bah.

Ordered a phone case to be sent to work before I went on holidays. It didn't arrive before I left
and now back here weeks later I have it and it's way too big and not worth a curse to me.

I don't like 2fm, the presenters are very poor in my opinion. I used to enjoy it and the presenters, maybe 8-10 years ago, but it has taken a huge nose dive for me.

Does anyone else think this is the longest week ever?

Well it's not just on "ye tube of you", it's literally everywhere and if you can hear it's highly unusual that you haven't heard it (whether you are listening to it intentionally or not) somewhere.
I just think it's hilarious. It's like when people scoff and say "oh I'm not on social media" as if it makes them superior:pac:

Anyway I'll leave it at that.

I'm not on social media either. It doesn't make me superior, it makes me not on social media, because I'm not interested in it. :D

The local barstooler is given control of the remote control and blares the TV loud. Hey we all like Reeling in the years but he gives the pub a commentary [...] My kingdom for a quiet pub without a blaring TV!!! It's all I ask :(
    You need this device:

    http://www.tvbgone.com/

A thoughtful sibling got one of these guys for me one christmas a few years back and whenever a pub telly was too loud and the barstaff wouldn't turn it down and (approximately) zero people were watching, out this little baby would come and - hey presto - instant peace.

    A recommended purchase.

Also, Cylon technology such as Peel Remote running on a decent Android phone can command-and-control a lot of new-ish TVs in pubs. Just saying, is all... :D

I listen to podcasts or spotify in the house, or CDs and news radio in the car, and don't have radio on where I work. Everywhere else I'm in those places for so little time, I've never heard that song. I actually just recognised the video rather than the song when I looked it up!

My trivial annoyance, and this happens to me a lot...people insisting I'd "know it if I heard it!" No, I wouldn't! It's perfectly possible to avoid pop music entirely.

When a courier tracking service states they tried to deliver but nobody was home.

Well I was at home and no attempt at delivery was made.

TA'd that I spent 3.5 hours in work yesterday doing a specific task and got in today to realise I did it completely wrong so have to do it all over again now today.

I also would have given anything for an extra hour in bed this morning, the exhaustion is real today. Roll on 5:30pm tomorrow.

The mother in law is coming to visit for a few days. She is nice and we get on well but it's a bit awkward, she doesn't have that much English and I don't have that much German so there are a lot of awkward silences if the missus leaves us alone!

Wear a monocle and try to get your hands on a make-up artificial dueling-scar crossing your left eye vertically. It'll make her feel more comfortable.

    TV3's new program schedule!

We are going to have among other piles of sh1te, Ireland's Got Talent and Living with Lucy (where Lucy gets to live with that attention seeking muppet Katie Hopkins...giving her even more undeserved publicity) with hilarious consequences. I made up the last bit.

Just talk about fleisch, bier, coffee und brot, every conversation in German revolves around these.
