Conor outclassed and had the completely wrong gameplan. Should have been much more conservative in those opening rounds. He landed that uppercut, got excited and put far too much pressure on Mayweather and he just lay on the ropes and absorbed it like he always does. Should have taken a more patient, measured approach in those first 3 rounds.

No excuses. He does not belong in boxing. Back to where he belongs now in MMA.

]I would love have taken a miracle for conor to punch to land a decent punch from Conor on Floyd.

    Fixed that for ya! :D

Guff about stuff, and stuff about guff.

Conors punches were like a fella who never fought before, very weird punching style, loads of grabbing and rabbit punches too, lets just hope it's the end of him in the Boxing ring and stick to rolling around in a cage

I had a lot of crisps and soft drinks, so yeah, a pretty good night by my standards.

    Nite folks...

Conor a "winner" for me tonight...

With real stamina he could have won..

For all the talk about preparation and "doing the work" for him to gas so early was a surprise. Looking at the fight you would have reversed the roles and had Conor as the 40 yr old. It highlights that the training was not right and geared towards 12x3 rounds.

All said he can hold his head up high.

    Bit of a farce really

    More so on floyd's part

Conor did well to get his pay cheque but Floyd could have ended that in round one if he wanted lads. Let's not fool ourselves

No way floyd could've ended it that quick, he had to wait until conor was gassed

He doesn't roll around the cage, all of his wins are by punches.

    Official scorecards were a joke!

But i don't give a fcuk, Conor just went 10 rounds with arguably TGE and for most of it didn't look out of his dept.

The fans win on this fight fcukin loved every bit of that fight.

Looked out of his depth for at least 7.
Thought he was going to ask ref for a Euro for a hostel at the end, didn't know where he was.

I see the usual suspects are out trying to change the narrative already. Next it'll be "Conor had him in trouble early on!"

Floyd did what he always does - took a few rounds off at the beginning to figure things out (particularly sensible against a guy 20 lbs heavier than you with a big height and reach advantage) and then outclassed him.

That takes nothing away from McGregor's performance.

That sounds like a 1970's Irish soccer 'moral victory' ? :D

Nah nineties Irish rugby was the heyday of moral victories.

It was crap. So was the Davis fight before it. He missed weight too.

Imagine spending 10,000 on a ticket. I'd be projectile vomiting outside if I spent that sort of money on that.

Was disappointed with the result and how it went but enjoyed watching the first few rounds. I enjoyed the build up, the discussions online.

Plus I'll be waking up on Sunday without a hangover so... there is that

Conor did alot of trash talking coming up to this. Now he looks like an ejet after losing.

Yeah he really looked stupid walking away with 100m alright

He has just got more money from one single fight than 99.99% of boxers will make in their life time. But yeah, what a fool.

I wonder would Conor take the same money to jump in with Canelo now that he's a pro boxer that can go 10 with the GOAT?

    Official compubox stats:

    Landed/Thrown

    111/430 Conor. (26%)

He outlanded Pacquiao, Canelo, Berto and they all lasted 12 and had higher %'s.

Before anyone moans about "clean punches" compubox use the same criteria they used for all those other fights.

He was puffing towards the end of the second.

Yea I noticed that, for a pro athlete he has poor conditioning

You know McGregor has done something right when even boxing fans are bitter in this victory.

No. He landed far more solid shots that were no-sold by Carl Froch.

Conor should fight Paulie next instead of going back to mma

    What's Carl Frock's problem?
He seems like a right bellend.
