Starting Walsh is a massive risk. I think it might just show a glimmer of panic in the Kerry ranks. That half forward line is weak, they were on the end of the goal chances last week but contributed very little outside of that.

The only reason I would have seen for Walsh not starting last day instead of Geaney was he wasn`t deemed over his injury.
He must be in fairly good nick if he is getting the nod rather than Savage who played well when he came in for Geaney.

I can see him starting. Barry a better sub to be bringing on vs Maher.

Perhaps, but with him being hauled ashore last day at half time I thought Fitzmaurice would have gone with Barry on the basis of a good start is half the battle.

Excellent. No excuses for Kerry now.

Unless they turn up on Sunday as per that team sheet.

They'll have missed the boat if they do.

I'd be fairly confident if Kerry think the game is on Sunday that they will indeed miss the boat.

    I suspect it's a typo though, unless it's mega-yerra

Looks like it's going to be a fine day for football :)
Any mist or fog will clear on Saturday morning and sunny spells will develop. Most parts will have a dry day but there may be a few isolated showers. High of 18 to 21 Celsius in light westerly or variable breezes.

Beautiful morning up in the capital . I have a ringing in my head this morning with chants of Andy,Andy, Andy. We may not get to witness him again after this years championship is over . What a servant to mayo .

Today is the day for the lads to put one of the big two to the sword.

    Le cunamh Dé,carpe diem.

A win today would do wonders for the confidence of the team trying to break the glass ceiling of finally attaining the big prize.

    Muigheo Abú!

Just about to post this Seilhegit. Could be a real watershed moment today in finally putting away a big 2 side which would give us a massive boost for the final

I've a head cold coming on but can't miss today. A hot Jameson and a burrito will sort things out.

    Time to finish the job.

He was outstanding the last day, if anything he's a guy that has got better with age. There's never anything flashy with Andy, he just does the basic things so well.
