She has answer for everything Wanderer. I thought Pete might put her on the back foot a little. But no she turned it into his anger issues. Very skilled manipulator.

I don't trust her a bit, she is ice cold and never ever rises to any aggravation. That kind of person probably expresses her anger secretly in a terrifying way. She had Pete thinking that HE was the issue at the end of the conversation. That's Emmet, Doug and I think Charlotte she has fully signed up. There will be definitely more.
What happened to that girl who was kind of going out with Emmet- was that Miriams daughter? She seemed to only exclusively go out with Emmet for the sole purpose of pushing him towards the meetings. Now there is no sign of her, very odd. :P

Yes that dark haired girl was very pretty.

What way do you see the story going Wanderer? What's next? Do you think she'll look for money from members?

She'll hardly organise a mass orgy to make new little cult members?

So far, they have got the pacing spot on. This group has mushroomed without anyone of us even noticing. Her defensiveness to Pete was the first red flag for me. If they are playing it as a cult, Miriam and Emmet (and soon Doug) will soon be out for other members and some will try it and stay others wont get it and leave. She will get a loyal band of followers who will be raving about her and encouraging others to change their lives. Defo Katy and Caddle will be targeted, given recent events.
She may then ask for money, citing lack of funding or brainwash the members into thinking money is needed to keep the group going. Then if she starts pledging allegiance to some fictional group creator and she demands criminal acts from her subjects that's when it could get dangerous- Brookside did it and it involved bombs and suicide plans and FC does have the guts to tackle dark subjects so if they put their minds to it, this could be brilliant.

Then again Bild, after the farce of Katy and Trigger taking so long to die, they will probably make a total balls of it with 40 writers on it and wrap it up hastily some Sunday night when someone asks "What happened to Miriam?" "ah she left town" and that's it! I'm a healthy cynic.

Why is it that when a fella gets grabbed by the scrotum he never uses his hands to try and free himself? Or why would you want to grab someones balls in the first place?

It seemed to have a paralysing effect on Cathal:D Like a taeser gun!

The FC writers must have thought they were gas thinking up a name like Seamus Hendrix. I can imagine them sat around laughing their heads off going Seamus as in Irish for Jimmy like the guitar fella tehehe. They showed admirable restraint by not making him wear a bandana and some tie dye

Maybe Miriam will become a David Koresh type cult leader and preach that the end of the world is nigh

No, I'm just a viewer who was always saying that Niamh SHOULD leave Paul, which never happened as predicted. :D

Yeah, his hair is all over the place, I think he may be saving it for a comb-over.

I was delighted Carol disposed of Tiggers ashes appropriately. :)

I know when Spillane shouted at him "what have ye against Mika Hendricks?"
I thought Robbie was going to say "He's me barber."

    ;-)

So is it a cult storyline or what?

I think we're being generous making this assumption. I think it might be but what's the angle, where's the teeth? Emmet is acting differently but no change in Eoghan. If I was a betting man I'd say it will just fizzle out.

The grumpy barman in my local barred me, rigidly for months just for singing! What would you have to do in the Station? Who is Robbie to threaten Spillane, Cathak already had his henchmen kick the cr@p out of him and he did nothing in retaliation? The writers can't keep score

It's all just sketches with FC, they never really conclude a storyline... I still want to know how Eyvone, (****ing Irish names so hard to spell)... gets away with hit & run then came home and no mention of it..... That carry-on wouldn't be tolerated in Germany, sure it wouldn't, De Bild? :)

A few interesting facts about Armenia.
    Chess is compulsory at school.
The first church in the world was built there and was the first country to adopt Christianity.
It is one of the oldest wine producing countries in the world.
One of it's symbols is the apricot and the it's national symbol is the Turkey.
    Cher's father was part Armenian.

So for Melaineie's son we need a religious teenage girl, who good at chess, known's her wine and likes eating turkey and apricots whilst listening to Cher. I'm sure there's loads out there.
