And yet Rahm gets a large slice of luck and ended up with birdie. Who mentioned fine margins earlier?

Rory played well today, apart from 2 holes he held plenty of puts for par and dug in +1 is a decent score out there.

Greens will hopefully slow down and you won't see as many defensive puts as today.

The greens were just cruel today.

Apparently Si Woo Kim withdrew after shooting 79. Seems to be a pattern with him, it's his 6th WD of the season

Gmac definitely just double hit the ball there, is he going to call it on himself? Looked clear as day without even seeing a close up.
so your one of them...eh :O

    Ah now!

On another note that Rahm kid looks good, I could see him winning something.
    Really...like what? Irish Open !!

Rickie now has to be favourite. To come back from that triple the way he did and finish at -2 took some doing.

As a strategy, it clearly isn't working.

I wouldn't make him favourite based on watching him yesterday. He putted beautifully but he didn't strike it great off the tee with the driver or 3 wood. Great comeback though.

Back issues apparently. Not the kind of injury you want as a golfer.

I think the course is really throwing players.

The bermuda rough is extremely punishing all over the course.
The greens are very firm and difficult to read.

All depends on the weather and how they use the sub air system.

Kuchar (E), Rose (+5) and Kirk (+10) are the featured group on TSN1.
Surely there is a more interesting featured group this morning.

Mcilroy, Fowler and Rahm are the featured group on TSN 5

Mcilroy not hitting it well today, scrambling well for pars.
Fowler laying back with 3 woods/irons, +1 day
Rahm doesn't have his best either, missing greens with short irons +1 day

Speith on the practice putting green 3 hours before tee-off. It will be interesting to see how the flat stick goes for him today..

Going all in on the Rickie train now, hoping he does it.

Two great rounds from Kisner, will be interesting to see if he can keep it up.

I'd really like him to win too but unfortunately he won't. He will collapse.

Listened to his interview and he sounds like a tough competitor. Made his way up from the mini tours.

Has a great approach to the course, aiming for pars except on 7/8/14/15.

Boring enough old leaderboard, following the pattern of the PGA the last couple of years . Kisner , woodland , koepka all robots . Hopefully Rickie can grow a pair of balls and do something over the weekend

I really think the pga should switch format to make it unique. Matchplay would be great

Another birdie to move to -2

A group of Lowry and Fowler tomorrow would be great.

Sometimes coverage can be very frustrating. Lowry having one of the rounds of the day and I only remember seeing one shot from him. Rather than faffing about while Spieth is in the trees, show us some golf!!!

Nothing new there. US TV directors always avoid showing Lowry

Just playing to a U.S. audience. For them, the rest of the world doesn't really exist. It seems like Shane would need to be leading before they'd show him.

Crazy scenes at the end with players breaking protocol to make sure they got their round played before the hooter ended ie DJ teeing off on 18 while Day was putting on 17. Didn't like it myself. I can understand that they didn't want to come back and play a hole in the morning but quite bizarre really.
