Didn't see a thread started yet other than the one related to the broadcasts.

Just watched Sergio Garcia's interview and he comes across as hating this course in the current conditions. He is a great driver of the ball but relies on a lot of roll out which he isn't getting here.

Based on what all the players are saying I cant see anyone other than a real longer hitter winning here? Who are your three picks.

    I have McIlroy, DJ, Mastuyama.

Keep this thread strictly about the golf, not the commentary or lack of

DJ seems to be still struggling. He starts well, but fades away. Still suffering from that injury perhaps.

Koepka is a bomber as well, I think he'll be in contention. Been very quiet since US Open win.

Would be amazing to see Spieth complete the grandslam at 23.

Hopefully McIlroy can do it, this could be a cracking championship.

Lowry all over the shop down the first. Made a big putt for bogey in the end, could be crucial for his confidence.

Played no comps for a month off after, was 6th at the Open and 17th Last week so not that quit

Probably gearing up for a big run at the Fed Ex

I suspect this will be the Major with the lowest viewership in years

First shot lost due to lack of a proper caddy? Far too much club he hit in there.

I'd say that's harsh on Harry, players overhit even with proper caddies.

BBC Red button. You can add it if you have sky.

Anytime I watched BBC red button on Sky I just went to BBC and pressed the red button. But its not working now. Did something change there?

    Edit: Found it

    Go to Services/Options/OtherChannles/AddChannel

    Enter this:
    10.773
    H
    22.0
    5/6

    Press Yellow for 'Find Channels'.
Scroll down 'til you have BB RB1.
    Press Yellow to add channel.
Press Select to finish adding channels.
    Go back to OtherChannels.
    Watch BBC RB1

For those looking, here are the settings:

    It's on:
    10.773
    H
    22.0
    5/6
    labelled RB1

You add it through Options/Add Channels on your sky box. Once added, it will be found under Other Channels on the same menu.

Rory drove it from tee to about 50 ft from the green on the par 4 8th. MICHELSON was taking his putt and it didn't land to far away from him

This is BBC RB1 you're adding. After it's added you'll find it in 'other channels'

On my Sky Q you go Settings/Manual Tuning, then enter your 4 digit code, then Add a Channel, then enter the frequency etc as above.

The margins at that level must be sooo small. Being a handicap golfer I'd be thinking if I hit drives and irons like McIlroy that would have to give me so much confidence almost to the point of feeling invincible and that it would be oozing into the weaker parts of my game and I actually would be invincible. But then what would I know. The margins must be so small at that level and apparently you have to be absolutely tip top at everything.

My understanding was their 2nd. I must be wrong on that though.

Enjoying that the course not seemingly set up to be blitzed
