I can't recall much of it, other than I loved it. It never seemed to be repeated- unlike everything else. Really should see if it's easily available on DVD some day.

    My favourite show.

Got the 2 series on DVD - still watch 'em

Same here... My 2 favorites would have to be A Clockwork Hammer (particularly the scene where they try to brainwash Sledge :p) and Hammeroid (just classic)

    :D

The theme tune.... it's all about the theme tune. If nothing else it at least gave us that.

A few years back I was talking to someone who grew up in East Germany (USSR) and she was telling me her parents used to tune in this show at night (from West Germany) for her and her siblings and swear them to secrecy about having watched it.

Why didn't the inhabitants of Cabot Cove just ask Jessica Fletcher to leave town?
Strange that people kept on inviting her to their weddings etc. :D

Back in the day this used to air on ITV on Sunday nights before/after something like the South Bank Show and for ages I would see it in the TVTimes listings and think it was some dreary political debate show ... how wrong I was:

    Sledge Hammer pic

Remember when an episode ended with the world being destroyed (he probably cut the red wire instead of the blue in an atomic bomb or something), and then it said "To be continued..."

I was thinking, "How are they going to continue from this?"

The next episode started with "The following events occurred five years before the events of the previous episode."

I remember watching the pilot for this on RTE. Then I got an encore viewing when UTV broadcast it a few days later.

Probably the best of the bunch imo. Lee Majors deadpanned the role brilliantly.

The A-Team was a close second. Then MacGyver. Ah, the 80s!:pac:

Once upon a time, there were three little girls who went to the police academy. And they were each assigned very hazardous duties but I took them all away from all that and now they work for me. My name is Charlie.
