MUF had loose up today showing what supplements she takes. She was asked about Miss Fit Tea. She said she is. It associated with that brand anymore. Had a look and all posts are deleted from her blog. If it was something she loved she would hardly delete all trace of it! I reckon she never drank it at all or took any of those 'd' tablets!
Wow and I remember from reading her blog post she made such a fuss about the collaboration.

Even one of the pages I saw last night is gone now! I dunno if she loved it why delete all trace of it. I reckon was purely just for the €€ she did it! Which is all well and good but at least like and use the item obviously I could be completely wrong but just saying what it looks like to me! Whatever happened! Fuss wasn't the word made about that colab such a lead up to it!

Wasn't Miss Fit the one FacesbyGrace got a slap on the wrist about not declaring it an ad? She was advertising it even thoug she hadn't been able to use it in over a year (pregnant then breastfeeding)

The company itself was shady as hell in its responses to people who made complaints about it.

    I think it was.

    Does Grace still promote them?

Never ever mentions them now. Yet she was constantly opening her cupboard filming the mountains of packs she had whilst making her mum cups of it cause she loved it too. Shows how fake she is....If she loved it that much wouldn't we still see it on her snaps day to day even if she was no longer collabing. Yet no....not a mention.

I think that was one of the major things that turned me off Grace, actively promoting a product you havent used in over a year and still can't, how can you stand over it then? I felt they were using her position as a new mum to target that demographic..women who've just had kids and are trying to gain control over their weight and bodies again. It was gross.
There were also some claims of lose 5lbs in a week, which is false and not actually a healthy amount to lose in a week

She doesn't work with Miss fit skinny tea anymore. She came out and said she was told
By the company that she didn't have to #ad it as she was a brand ambassador for the tea. So when she got it trouble she put the blame on the company.

The tea company are now using Z list uk celebs to promote their tea. Just shows how fake it is. The owner of the tea, where I'm sure she's a hard working business woman, just tends to show off her nice house and car and is very materialistic on snapchat in my opinion. She talks about how hard she works all the time. We get it, she's a hard worker, but why then muck it all up with grace and MUF. Product must not be that great?

That girl Holly Hagen from Geordie Shore and some fella called Stephen bear who goes out with another geordie shore perosn I think. Back in March they both posted videos of themselves talking about the tea and drinking it. It was so staged !

I think if you've come to that stage in your career where you have to promote a tea that makes you sh!t your pants, it's time to reevaluate your life.

They are Z lists alright but they both probably have more followers than MUF and have a bigger reach. She must not be promoting it in Ireland anymore.

Charlotte crosby. They have a lot of followers between them.
Plus Holly lost a huge amount of weight so it goes with her image!

Didn't MUF claim she was the 'celebrity' ambassador for Miss Fit? Not sure what that's meant to mean..... I'd never touch anything her of Grace promote with a ten foot pole, any company that sends those 2 free gear doesn't give a crap about honest reviews IMO. All Grace does is show mountains of free baby stuff she gets each day, who truly is interested in that? I am sure even mothers think enough is enough, how many things with her kids name plastered all over them need to be shown? I think she's lost her way totally and her snaps are nothing more than ads, ads, ads.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 21,039 ✭✭✭✭retro:electro

Yea. One or two nice bits with your child's name on it is nice, but when it comes to having everything you own with your child's name sprawled across it- it's just tacky, imo.
Just goes to show how desperate these companies are sending her a load of tat with the child's name on it in the hope it'll be shown on Snapchat.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 29,089 ✭✭✭✭LizT

I wouldn't call them desperate at all. They know if their products are featured on a popular bloggers snapchat, it will be free advertising for them. If I had a small business with a relevant product and wanted to get my name out there, I'd do exactly the same.

FBG has no #ad or spon on her post about Nestlé Cheerio's on Instagram or her post about CODE beauty on Facebook. They both scream ad, it's really hard to argue that they are not. "I'm teaming up with".

It really is beyond a joke at this stage.

Mom fitness diary has been #ad cheerio snaps

I was just coming on to say this! During the week a coupIe of days she was suddenly having cheerios for breakfast, but then in next snap she was having boiled eggs and toast, and these were only 2 mins apart, i thought there was something strange about it and then see the cheerios post on instragram today and it all makes sense!
I'm not sure if #ad is needed but im sure she didnt buy the cheerios bowls to give away herself!

I'm convinced it's a sponsored post. The way it reads seems like a clear copy and paste job. I don't think she would bother with a cereal post if it wasn't paid. It's so off her usual beauty posts and her other giveaways that's are not paid.

God almighty, I now have to put cheerios on my boycott list? :pac: not that I eat them anyway, but after the carry on of some of these women there is no way in hell im contributing to them making so much as a cent

I've also decided not to buy any more Freddies after I saw that they sent muf around 10 pairs. She probably has them all on depop. Ugh.

I'm a petty, petty woman and I don't care :pac:

HAHA I noticed the 2 breakfasts and thought, she must be hungry. Makes sense now, part of the deal obviously.
How can anyone not look at that and realise it's an ad but she's clearly not displaying that it is

Clearly another non declared ad. I seen momfitnessdiary post it a few days ago so as soon as Grace showed a bowl it was obvious. I've attached both posts, you can see the similar wording which was obviously part of the agreement. Some things will never change. #reported

She just had a snap telling about the giveaway and has it #sp but go back to instagram and its still not edited to have #sp or ad, its this stuff that really frustrates me. I actually like her content as regards her makeup, skincare and even the fitness stuff (although its questionable that is genuine) but when you see attempts to hide ads or sponsored posts its frustrating and so tempted to unfollow.

I don't understand why some bloggers are loathe to declare a sponsored or paid post. Or why they go through so much trouble to hide the fact. Most of the bloggers I follow correctly declare any sponsored or paid content and it doesn't change how I view their content, other than the fact that they have my respect, my trust and my following and engagement.

To be honest, if someone reading that can't work out it's an ad they need their head examined! It's not even subtle!
However, that said, I 100% agree they should ad or spon these.

Exactly, i respect them more when its openly declared and you can make up your mind to watch or read or skip past. But whens its not declared properly, i read the posts or watch the snaps and then i realise it has got to be an ad and feel duped!
    I just want transparency!

I agree with you, but you would genuinely be shocked at how many don't seem to realise, or care even though it's a regulation. The ones that don;t care from what I can see, genuinely dont seem to cop on how much of it is paid or freebies in exchange for publicity, and if you point it out you get "well why shouldn't they get freebies, I would"...like so would I but I'd declare they were freebies.

I also notice that despite Grace saying her freebie travel buggy was the best thing ever, doing a blog post on it, and she hasn't gone back to her other one...she was using the old one the last few days. Must have met all her advertising marks with Bella Baby

It's the hinting they would like a product that annoys me. All the bloggers have clearly been invited for a free blow dry in that new place in Dublin. Some have said it was free, most have not. Grace and her friend went in last week, just one snap of their hair done that was it. Yesterday she was saying she's organised a big dinner with her bloggers friends and was meant to ring and try and book in for a blow dry, and she would be ringing them to book now. Clearly she wants them to invite her in again. It's the first she spoke about having this blogger dinner, so I'm sure they will all be in getting their blow drys for free before the dinner.

Maybe I'm just cynical and that's not what happened at all.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 383 ✭✭Lindy97

They must HATE having to hand over cash for anything, its borderline comical.

And I don't care what people say about them being 100% honest, they know that if they give negative reviews then the product/company is less likely to send them stuff or work with them in the future, and that's a huge loss to them. The likes of Grace who has nothing to sell other than herself (i.e no products of her own) is dependent on all these paid gigs and freebies so I don't trust anything she or anyone like her says.
