Wait, a oneplus 5T, bit soon no? Would have not liked to just got a 5.

Or maybe another OPX. I welcome one of those.

??? Think they're just hinting at a new colour option.

I doubt there'll be a 5T and the X line was completely discontinued

Agreed, they have even previously teased four new possible colour options.

Let's hope so. The SD 835 is in the OP5, the new over clocked 836 is going into the Pixel .. They could pull the same trick again like they did for the 3 (820) to the 3T (821)

The new version will 100% just be a different colour(s).

For anyone buying one soon, referral link for €20 off accessories when buying. Means you can get a spare charger / case on the cheap / free.

It's not out yet, once it's out we'll know from others who've got it what regions it's been released in

Got mine yesterday too and got nano-sim then so today is the first day using it. Had it charged to 100% and been on since 7.30. Few uses throughout the day but mainly just on my desk. Battery is at 71%. My OPO would have been dead twice by now, so I am really happy with this.

    Quick question:

Does anyone know how to prevent the screen coming on when the phone is docked or connected to a charger?

I have it set so the LED turns blue when charging so I don't need the screen to "pop" when I plug it in.

It's a minor annoyance alright, and I'm pretty sure that I had a ROM before that had the option in it to turn it off.

I'm almost certain that Oxygen doesn't have the option to turn it off available though!

I'm thinking you don't want to have a custom ROM just to stop it happening, do you? :)

Na, I used to constantly flash custom ROM's onto old Android phones years ago but Oxygen is so close to stock and I like using Google Pay so can't be ar$ed with Custom Rom's now I have the OP5. I did have a custom ROM on the OP1 up until I got the OP5 and it really extended the functionality and life of the phone.

I wonder would Tasker or similar be able to "suppress" the screen pop on plugging in a charger??

I just tried IFTTT for you, but I couldn't find an applet that'd work.

I don't have tasker myself, but hopefully someone that has it will chime in :)

Not many options, but don't buy an Orzly. I've had 2 break in 2 weeks in my pocket. Might get the official one next, eventhough there are reports of it partially covering the edge of the screen.

Agree with this I got an orzly and thought it was terrible. Bubbly rainbow effect on the middle of the screen which really irritated me so I ripped it off. Does anyone have any other tempered glass screen protectors recommendations?

Has anyone any experience with returning a OnePlus device? I bought a OP5, it hasn't arrived but it was too late to cancel the order apparently.
I was curious to know how long it usually takes to get a refund.

Why would you do that when you've the opportunity to buy direct from the manufacturer without getting hit by customs

Because what appears to be the same phone is coming in cheaper from Gearbest, but customs would wipe out any savings:(

And you're dealing with a third party for warranty if something goes wrong. Not worth it

Thank you, that is good advice, which I would do well to heed.
