Just popped up on my 365 scores app that we are looking at Andre Gomez from Barca, they are willing to sell.

Looking further into the story, the source is The S*n so maybe we should disregard it.

Watford linked with a loan for TFM. I'd say take it provided they guarantee he'll play.

    Different game.

It was Park and Rafael in central midfield against Blackburn that was the killer there iirc.

Beating Arsenal at home under Van Gaal with that mad young team will be a sweet victory for a long time to come. Rashford scoring two and then an assist, and Memphis with his outragous midair backheel control all topped off with Louis' dramatic dive

Think it was just sweet because it was all doom and gloom and Arsenal finally coming to OT to break their record, Van Gaal being cool as **** beforehand about it and then bang, smoked them.

Mmm. I knew that. Of course I did. In fact, it was a test, to see if you knew.

(More seriously, I did actually wonder if that was the game against Blackburn but bad jokes don't need correct details so I didn't bother checking :pac:)

Would that be the same game that Micheal Carrick ****ed up and cost us a place in the CL semi-final?

Why, I do believe it was...

Was it one of several misplaced passes?

ugh, the fact we regressed from the 2009 midfield, seemingly learning NOTHING from the 09 farce, still irritates me so much.

How could Fergie not address it? IT IS MIND BOGGLING!

And had we addressed it I reckon we would have won another CL.

Even though you were wrong, had to thank it 'cause it was almost perfect!

When you see how little United did to capitalise on winning the CL in 08, it is so annoying. Did the same in 99 imo. Didn't properly look to strengthen and push on from those victories. Not that we didn't make signings, but we didn't really push the boat out to go up another level imo. There was a period of stagnation in the side that followed those victories, all too quickly (again, imo)

    Gibson what a waste.

The biggest disappointment for me was Liam Miller. I thought he was going to be a superstar.

Interesting fact (not really) he's, 36 now and playing for the Wilmington Hammerheads of North Carolina in the American 4th tier.

The lead up to the 2011 final was incredibly frustrating, not least because I knew we would end up with Giggs in midfield and we knew how that would turn out and because there was no bloody need for it.

I mean really... Compare the 09 side to the 08 side, and then again the 12 side back to either. What were the club at?

Matic told Chelsea he'd refuse to play & go public if he wasn't allowed to leave. Utd telling Bale to ask to leave & they'll move for him.

Not a fan of that type of attitude from Matic, if true. You signed a contract. Play to it.

Contract is more to do with the agent than the player at this stage, I think the player should be free to choose who they want to play for this wouldn't put matic in the mercenary category as I don't think this is a decision of money more of a football decision.

I've said before there should be *somewhat* reasonable release fees in every contract. But I get extremely annoyed by players like bale who sign a new contract every twelve months then whinge when their club won't sell easy to Real Madrid. They want the cash but not the commitment that goes with it b

Id say that story suits Chelsea's explanation to why he was sold. I'd disregard any of that stuff to be honest. Id question the validity of any story that spins it into a positive for Chelsea. The Lukaku deal proved all sorts of shíte was being reported to make Chelsea look better.

I'm not saying it's true.... But I can see no reason that fella would push a Chelsea agenda. He is a United fan, has and continues to do work with the club. He may also have Chelsea connections, but his united ones would be primary.

Look at his actions over the summer before he was sold near the last day.

You could claim Matic should respect his contract BUT Conte certainly didn't respect it given he excluded Matic, along with Costa from first team activities. If you really want to be anal. I mean contracts go two ways. If Matic is on a senior deal he shouldn't be left behind.
