There was no fear of Monaghan whooping anyone with that performance yesterday. I'd say that was their swan song if I'm honest. I thought Carlow were unlucky and have clearly put huge strides into their own camp.

It'll either be Dublin or Tyrone I'd say. I always found Gaa fixtures list full of TBC,TBC

I think it's Tyrone v Monaghan (or at least the winner of Down v Tyrone) and Dublin v Armagh (winner of Dublin v Kildare) on the 29th July

You play the loser of the Tyrone down game or the Dublin Kildare game. If Tyrone win then become you played down already you'll play the loser of leinster so most likely Kildare. If down win then it'll be a draw to play Tyrone or the loser of leinster.

All things going as they should today you'll play Kildare I'm r4.

Yes this is more accurate I missed the runner up bit. Just aswell I'm not in charge of fixtures they're head melt.

Haha. Yeah I have a handle of it now but it's complicated as hell.

Conor McManus top scorer in the Ulster Championship again with 2-13. That makes four years in a row. There is a list in the programme today going back to 1948, and he is the only one to do four in a row.

The only Tyrone player to feature in the top six before today's final was Sean Cavanagh with 8 points and he got 2 more today. So they have built their success on having a spread of scorers.

That's surprising about Tyrone scorers. Would have thought someone from the team of the mid 80's would be up there

That is Tyrone 2017. The stand out stat since 1948 is Peter Canavan 1-38 in 2003. There were only two other years where an aggregate of over 30 points was achieved.

The stats would have to be examined to see if there were replays, and some teams will have four games if they got to the final from the preliminary round.

So Down in CP. I expect we will be underdogs in the betting , and rightly so but I think it's alot better than getting Kildare.

Good win over Down, an hour to go till the QF draw

    I'd actually prefer Dublin, I think :o
Whoever we get we're massive underdogs which might spark the boys

Typical! We are not on Kerry side of draw.

I'd be happy with Tyrone at this stage - the real Ulster final. :)

Come on Monaghan! I really feel they have a big performance in them. And if Dublin have an off day.....you never know.

Realistically, I hope we put it up to them well at least.

Ye were absolutely rode by the ref from what I seen. Would need to watch it back to be sure but that's never happening. See ye next year in Ulster!

Some shenanigans going on in JFC.. Sounded like an awful scummy thing to have done if deliberate. Anyone with knowledge of what actually happened?

Scotstown crowned county champions for 3rd year in a row, ,
Seems from the radio they had control for mpst of the game with county players making a bog difference

    Great win today

A dead rubber game v Dublin on Sunday. With the final already known and div 1 status assured it should be a training game

Thought it was a very good team performance... Jack mc carron played as good as I've seen him in the championship. Rory beggans kicking was immense.
