Coming from a Tipp man. I showed you on our forum in Waterford why it was not a red card..

No, you showed nothing only a clear bias, you have already tried to derail the Waterford thread please don't do the same here, its become a little tedious.

0-07 v 0-00 down 15 gone ...not a good start at all, actually just scored our first point!

8 points to 3 right now, Kingston and Coleman are on form so far. Very strong wind in Limericks favour.

Goal for cork, 1-3 to 0-9

0-11 to 1-4. 4 points is no great lead in this weather. Not playing great but well in it

Very interesting first half there. Everything seemed to be going Limericks way. They were catching balls and everything was bouncing right for them. Now they are working very hard and look a great team but everything was going their way.

I was just thinking if the ball can get up forward (which was hard due to the wind) then I thought we can get goals. Then we got one!

Then we got more into the game and now its only 4 points in the difference at half time even though Limerick had all the ball.

I think there are more goals there for us and the wind will definitely help.

We are somehow still in it. Wind at our backs and run at that limerick defence, theres more goals there!

The refs giving us nothing the langer.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,741 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Worryingly it is the same start to the second half. It is taking Cork a few touches to get the ball under control every time. Limerick seem to be catching everything and controlling the ball quicker.

Not helped by this ref at all too

Ref is killing us at the moment

The standard of reffing is ruining the GAA. Its sad.

I think he wants to give Limerick points from frees but they keep missing them. He will send Dalton off if he can as well I think

where was the ref from ?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,741 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Ref was one of the worst home town guys ever.Limerick guy falls over and crowd screams and then he gives a free. Same pattern happened a lot.

At the swing stage where we were on top, he gave them really soft frees.

Thought we could have won that with a better ref.

Its easy to blame the ref, but there's a good few genuine silly frees given away. Sean O'Donoghue holding the fellas arm twice, Kingston out in the sideline, tim o'mahony's chop over by the sideline, the foul at the end for Limerick's last free with 4 cork lads around him and one fella pushing him on the back and he bending down, just off the top of my head. It was 2 points, but to be fair we never looked like winning.

Clare I think. would love to see the frees count, felt like Limerick got twice what we did

Those 3 limerick points at the start of the second half were the difference, we needed a good start, they got one instead . Not sure if we actually ran at their defence at all, a pity.

Ref was absolutely one sided I thought.

Fair dues to limerick but that one got away!

People may blame the ref, but looking back at the replays he was correct in every decision he made, for both sides. Dalton could easily have got a red card.
So it wasn't all one way traffic.!!

Heavily in favour of Limerick, because firstly they had most of the possession and secondly Cork were constantly fouling, a lot of the time needlessly. Easy blame the ref but he was fine and Limerick were simply the better team although they made hard work of it.

i didn't hear too many complaints from cork after the munster semi.
If proper officiating was applied across the board, cork would not have been playing last night.

There was no mention of Horgan when he robbed Waterford to allow Cork go through in the first place.......

No worries. I just have to keep correcting the Tipp man Danganabu. He runs pretty quickly in fairness. A sly dig and gone, no substance.

Hold on now, I replied to all three of your childish jibes in the Waterford thread and you have simply ignored it, as it exposed you for exactly what you are.

Waterford are brilliant, Waterford have all the best players in the country, I loves me county, all referees are out to do Waterford............yeah thats real ''substance'' all right :D

As I said no substance. You show where I said that / and don't go missing, find it and re print it, but you will not because I would never say anything like that. It takes all sorts but more often then not from your county, no surprise there. I correctly stated that Barry Coughlan is the best full back in the country whereas you are still looking for yours. Is it any wonder that most other counties like your players but it stops there... jibes and childish behaviour seems a prerequisite for you to publish anything and then go running. The old bully boy tactics again. No hell's kitchen here....
