Ah that's another one. I dunno how many naughty aul dolls I have on snapchat who's weekend story in the club is some variation of _____ on point. One from the other night was the duck face clan all wearing white and captioned with "when outfits are on point" followed by the usual 100, high heel and wine glass emojis.

Seriously, what IS it with this "duck face" fad, and stupid cartoon animal filters on pictures.

It really does nothing for someone IMO

    Be rude not to!

That really gets on my tits. I'm going to start using it literally. Got off the bus and said thanks to the driver, be rude not to.

I think lot of people do it ironically. The 'tilted-head + smile' pose is much worse, I think.

    Ah, sure lookit.

"I'm just being honest!". Yeah, that doesn't negate the odious statement that preceded it. "No offence" is in this stable too.

A colleague at work started a sentence with

    "No offence but...."

    Before he continued I said.

"I'll be the judge of that"

That's said ironically. Mostly. I like it.

Hate the use of seen as past tense of see.

This annoys me too. People seem to think that little phrase allows them to say what they like and forget the consequences

You are better off using "with all due respect"

because sometimes not much is due :p

I'm a Londoner who doesn't live in London anymore, and I only noticed this when I first went back after a good long break. Luckily not my immediate circle, or I'd have to kill them, but it's so common I'd stopped hearing it before.

Is there any more annoying phrase to end a sentence with?

    #justsayin

So many posts in response to this are not about sentence ending phrase. Most are just using it as an opportunity to rant over phrases they don't like
