Honest question: how would this one compare to the expensive Dysons v6 and v8?

I have those two in my radar as I aiming to replace the current vacuum cleaner with a Robot and Wireless "combo" by the end of the year.

It's been covered a few times in the thread.

It's comparable to a v6(but at a fraction of the price).

V8 is a different beast as it would want to be due to the cost(4x) and motor spec.

This Hoover is a no brainier for €99, I've mine for probably 6 months and use it very regularly, it's not good enough for a deep carpet hoover but perfect for everything else. And the bonus is I've only charged it a few times, fantastic battery.

Down to £79 on Amazon now
Damnit!! Gone back up to £99 on Amazon!

is anyone having an issue with the battery and have a fix for it ? I have to push the battery in for the hoover to work. I spoke with Amazon and they asked me to send it back to them anyway but it would be good to know if there's a quick fix for it ?

Have used both the Hoover and the Dyson V6. The Dyson is definitely the better hoover in every respect but whether it is worth the extra 200ish euro is certainly debatable.

I don’t have any carpet so use it on laminate, tiles and tongue and groove floors and to be honest it doesn’t replace the sweeping brush and pan. It just can’t get into the corners and having to change nozzles to do so is a pain. Having to constantly detangle the head is also a pain.
It isn’t strong enough to get the dust out of the gaps in tongue and groove floors either.
It is handy for the sofa, the car and the cobwebs.

I love the idea of a cordless handheld so it was a great introduction for the price and now I want a HEPA cordyson with the wooden floor head but can’t seem to justify the price.

These are a few cents short of €99 in Tesco for anyone that may be interested. Spotted them today assume they are part of the electrical sale which runs until the 14th of this month. Sorry didn't think to check sale period but definately €98 something.

I've had mine about 3 months from the amazon warehouse. No issues so far. I clean it out fairly regularly though which I'm sure helps.

Thanks for the code. I bought one on Amazon last year, my mom got one in Tesco when the price was good. I’ve just bought one now from little woods as a Christmas pressie. I rarely take my Milie out now, this is just so much quicker

Was €269.99? That's a bit like saying you saved €50 by running home behind a taxi if the taxi fare was €50. On that basis you could save a fiver or less by running home behind a bus....
According to Power City's site, the RRP on these was €199.95. So...were Littlewoods selling them for €70 above the RRP?

Question is...is it worth €92.99 (or less if you use the voucher code).
I'd be interested to hear from people who've had them...

Hi...my post wasn't a criticism of yours at all....it was more to do with the claims of retailers that give a false impression of the amount of the "reduction" that they're giving....and thanks for the alert anyhow...judging by the other posts here it seems well worth c. €80....I have a Hoover as my main vacuum cleaner...never had an issue.

Yes, with a long haired shedding collie. Just empty the bin regularly, also check for clogged hair in the nozzle where it goes into the bin.

I believe this FD22L (Freedom Lite) does not have a rotating brush bar like the standard Freedom FD22 has. Don't know if it would affect suction much, if at all.

Ah good, I stand corrected. Ignore my previous comment so. I didn't see it mentioned on the Hoover website initially, but having relooked, it's mentioned under the Features tab. I do wonder if the brush bar makes much difference, I assume it does to some extent.

It wouldn't work without it as the suction is fairly weak.

Tried to buy the FD22L just there. Never bought from littlewoods before so had to set up account. Tried to pay with debit card, declined. Tried debit card again, declined. Then tried once with credit card... all 3 transactions declined for no apparent reason. Checked bank accounts online and all 3 debits showing in pending.... Checked orders on littlewoods account, nothing. Joke shop.
