This is all pure pantomine and people are taking it at face value it's mad

The 2 of them are best buddies behind the scenes, as they laugh all the way to the bank with peoples easy money.

Also the betting your fight purse is standard boxing build up. I've seen people sign contracts even, but it's never followed up.

Taking everything said in that pantomine at face value . None of it is true none of it . Could you see how happy the Mayweather camp was when Conor was talking . The con is on .

They were laughing at the F**k the Mayweathers.

Normally if someone said that you'd reach for them, but the Mayweathers know its all part of the con act to get $100million into their bank account.

Conor didn't have George Lockhart looking after him back then however 145 or 147 would still be hard. Good interview with George on mmafighting.com from the first night of the pressers.

Just what I was thinking - those that are saying stop taking it seriously are taking it seriously.

If McGregor produced a contract to fight in 4oz gloves, Mayweather would sign it immediately. He knows that it would never be sanctioned, so there is zero risk to him.
It wouldn't be sanctioned as a boxing match by WBO, IBF, etc.
But this isn't a title fight and no external governing is needed, or involved afaik.
I'm not sure that it's true that a fight with 4oz gloves couldn't be sanctioned.

The only implication would be that Floyd wouldn't go 50-0. But money in the bank is unchanged.

I think the 50-0 is very important to him . Not as important as money granted.

Don't take me up the wrong, I'm not suggesting he's do it for a second. Be doing well to get him near Cleto Reyes'.
I'm just saying that I don't think that posters assertion that it couldn't be sanctioned was correct.

I know but the so called numpties seem to be putting less % brain power into it than you.

Mayweather also planted the seed that he has something big on McGregor in relation to women, that he said he is keeping until the last press conference. I'd love to know if he has something or if he's just winding him up.

The guy who beats women has something :pac::rolleyes:

The Nevada State Athletic Commission wouldn't sanction it.

As I said. I don't think that's necessarily true. They already routinely sanction striking with 4oz in MMA.
Is there any specific law preventing them sanctioning it as an exhibition bout with MMA gloves.
Similar to Caged Muay Thai with 4oz gloves.

I'd say the two of these actually respect and get along behind the scenes. When conor was doing press conferences with his MMA opponents there was no way he would let them walk up to his face and call him a bitch etc. Somebody would have stood between them.

There wasnt a multi million dollar contract clause stopping him retaliating if it happened in the UFC.

I agree. I think they are heavily scripted and then an agreement that they can throw in the odd improvisation...

Like I said, no ties whatsoever between these two. Their supposed hostility is based of 0!

    Sure, maybe it's mutual respect.

Or maybe it's the mutual 9 figure cheques

Heavily scripted or no ties? Pick one.

I genuinely believe they have never met outside of the press conferences and do not colude in any way.

Conor as a fighter would have great respect and admiration for Mayweather and would have watched his fights no doubt. Its all the hype and the americans are loving him and what he says.

They were even smiling and laughing at each other.
