I thought the Glen v CIT game was being played in the park this weekend but its now going to be Blarney v Valley rovers next Wednesday, why was this changed?

Lot of butt hurt from other counties about our Munster Final win, may it long continue.
Really? I think a lot of the Hurling people are rejoicing in the return of Cork and Wexford - it has lead to the best Hurling summer in nearly 20 years

While I agree with the sentiment that the return of Cork and Wexford is a good thing, I think it's a bit premature and misleading to say its the best Hurling summer in nearly 20 years!! The Hurling championship hasn't really started yet!

And if anything the quality thus far has been lower than most years.

I think we've had a few entertaining games and upsets/big results to be fair. The best games are probably still left to happen but thats perfectly normal.

You are right - I am being premature with that statement, we will of course have to see what the rest of the year brings.

I have to say I am delighted to see Cork back - it was great tussling with Cork when they were a great team, sharing the spoils here and there.

There was no real enjoyment in beating or watching Cork the last few years

I think it's been a hell of a lot better than last year anyway. The provincial championships last year were an unmitigated damp squip, can't recall even one half decent game off the top of my head. This year the dragon has been slain (twice!) and the sense of anticipation heading towards the last 5 games is pretty much at fever pitch. Remains to be seen how it plays out, of course, but that's just the nature of the beast.

Entertainment does not equate to quality for me.

The very fact that Galway are short priced favourite based mainly on the fact that they have been 'less bad' than everyone else says it all.

They are quite often linked, though. Anyway, both entertainment and quality wise, it has been a better summer SO FAR than last year, that's all I'm saying. Even quality wise, last year's final wasn't a patch on recent years, as much as Tipp played to their potential. Personally didn't think the semi-final against Galway was any great shakes quality wise either, though some might argue that.

Tickets no longer on sale for semi final, are tickets gone to clubs? Was going to buy the other night but seats were not great...

they'll be no bother with tickets for the semi, l looked the other day and as you say the tickets weren't great. There will be a huge Cork crowd there but 80k is a lot of tickets for 1 senior match being a semi as well.

The clubs were told this but it was later decided that they would need an extra few days to tidy the place up and that a smaller fixture might be better, not sure about that really as you can be certain it will be the biggest crowd to watch an intermediate match ever!!

Conor Cahalane in for Meade. Quite a few Sars lads above. They must have a serious u21 team. Anyone know Dayne Lee's story. Wasnt he playing a few senior games and looking well 2 years ago for JBM?

Cork 0-10 Waterford 0-8 HT. Dalton has scored 2 lineballs, 2 frees and 2 from play. Cork had the wind and hit 5 or 6 wides and drove passes inside out over the endline

Will he miss the senior semi final now after that red card??

And yet Horgan didn't get sent off for a worse challenge against us at the weekend

Corks summer of resurrection continues. Some strike off that Dalton lad.

    Well done Cork

Waterford 2 up give away a penalty which Dalton buries with the last puck of the game.

Oh yesss!!!!What a win. What goes around comes around. What the Waterford goalkeeper done for that sending off was a disgrace.

Will miss the next u21 game afaik. Thought the one handed pull across the head by the Waterford player was a red too

Delighted for that Waterford goalie rolling around like his arm had being amputated and popping up not a bother on him as soon as the red card had been given

Agreed. Only ended up wasting his own time in hindsight. Fool.

Very exciting game in the u21s! Ref was a bit questionable throughout the whole game. A little flick and he sends off fitzgibbon but I think it was Dalton got a smack into the head and the guy only gets a yellow.Their goalkeeper deserved what he got as he was on the ground for ages.

Waterford player should have been more clever and bring him down earlier for the team. Take the red and then it up to Cork to score with loads of defenders on the line.

Lads, where did we get this Dalton guy from? He looks a real winner! Coming up to drill that penalty I thought there would only be one result! He looked like he meant business!!
