I'm going to have some battered sausages and spice burgers. Judge not ye heathens.

No person could judge that. It's beyond judging. It is a special thing. A beautiful thing. Enjoy!

So the plan was egg fried rice with soy sauce, sesame seeds, ginger, chilli and scallion, thick chinese style curry sauce (from a packet), grilled chicken/tofu and chunky home made chips. I had all the prep done and then brought the toddler to bed. I came down 20 mins later to find my husband proudly presenting dinner.

Gloopy rice which had been reheated in curry sauce, said sauce had been made as if it was gravy. Water poured in and stirred rather than simmered and thickened with a side of not quite crispy frozen skinny chips. :(

Fair play to him for coming in from work and "helping" with dinner, but I'm craving some proper friend rice now!

Have a load of fruit to use up, so made a smoothie.

1 Banana, 2 kiwis, 6 cherries, 2 strawberries, glug of honey, then topped up with water.

    Pretty tasty.

Seriously the meal you had planned sounded great. Tell him to stick to non-food DIY.:D My missus knows not to interfere with the grub even if she thinks she's helping. That said, she does make a great fry up and I had a my weekend one this morning. Superquinn sausies, bacon, white pudding, fried egg, beans and toast.

My least favourite biscuits ever. I wouldn't go as far as to say I don't like them. I definitely don't dislike them. I just wouldn't buy them. But I'd eat yours.

Chocolate Kimberley now would be higher up the list.

I really wanted something bold but weddings :(
So I had a protein cacao mug cake with greek yogurt and raspberries. Pushed me way over my calorie allowance for the day but at least it was healthy :/

I wouldn't buy them either but I'd eat my husbands :D They were brought to me in bed so it'd be rude to refuse!

    Ok so. A woman thing.

This evening it was a roast beef dinner. I went for a simple one with roasties and peas with a splash of gravy on top. Best beef I've cooked at home in a long while. A lovely cut of eye of the round and roasted slow for over 3 hours.

    Pure magic!

Stir fried chicken, cashews, loads of veggies (including sugar snap peas and frozen peas) with soy sauce and some of the chilli jam I made on Sunday. Added the wholegrain rice in too, was lovely.
Chilli jam is more like chilli sauce, not for you toast in the morning as my uncle found out yesterday :)

Some Lay's salted crisps. Just munched on a slice of watermelon that I bought today and it was so juicy am soaking wet. Also think it was going off so not risking eating any more of it.

Just had a homemade burger, lean mince, black pepper, soy sauce, splash of ketchup mixed in.
Nice toasted burger bun, fried onions, peppers, lettuce, cheese, and ketchup.
    Stuffed now.

A Quiche Lorraine, side salad with a drizzle of white wine vinegar and some coleslaw.

I made the quiche at 8.30 this morning. So easy and better tasting than a shop effort, which are okayish anyway. Though the thoughts of cleaning the pan!

Went to the local Fish and Chip pub around the corner and got a take away. I asked what size the portions were and they said medium so I ordered some chips, onion rings and a salad. They came out with the biggest boxes of food. I nearly died. I was wondering why it was so expensive. Unfortunately only ate about half the chips and a quarter of the onion rings. The salad is untouched and will be my dinner tonight!

You got salad in a chipper? You should be ashamed of yourself!

I've just finished nibbling some nuts and i'm eating a very nice banana at the moment. It's probably the most homoerotic snack imaginable:)
