Anyone using a G403 (not the 402), looks like Logitech toned down their spacecraft-like styling they went a bit wild with for a while. Seems to resemble the old mx518 a lot.

    I went from a G402 to a G403 Wireless.

The G403 is bloody amazing, the only slight downside is that it sports a measly 2 side buttons.

Honestly I've never seen the need for more than 2, but I've never played WoW or Starcraft..

I count 5 on the side of my G402. I only ever use 2.

I use it every day and for 9 hours plus most weekdays and I had to look down to count how many buttons were on the side. Shows how much use I make of those extra three!

Right, so i got the G402, and have a couple of weeks use with it now. Its very good (for what i use it for) however its still doesn't fit my hand as well as the old one, although this is likely because the old one is the only mouse i have really used for four odd years or so, as i had one for in the office and one for at home.

The only thing is that is it quite light, the old one had weights in it to give it a bit of heft, which i preferred.

I think given enough time it will eventually feel as natural as the old one.

I dont play FPS, but the "sniper" button or whatever its called is quite handy when i need more accuracy in drawings etc. just for a few seconds without having to changed the DPI back and forth.

    I decided to order a G403... I'm in love. It's the perfect successor to a MX518.
