Clare are infuriating to watch. Cork are getting their forwards great ball off the short puck out and they haven't pushed up once.

Clare backs are terrible, doing nothing but fouling. Their strategy off the puckouts is daft, allowing the short puckout and then Cork's full back line to pick out their full forward line. And Clare's shot selection is crazy around the middle.

Cork's defenders are much better and their hurling is that little bit crisper all over the field. And Cadogan is just on fire.

Game is low on quality. Galway and an in form Tipp beat both of these imo

Clare defenders can't tackle without fouling.

Anyone else feel there should have been a few red cards in this? Seems like a lot of high tackles and wild swings

Pile of excitement in last couple of mins but cork should have this wrapped up long go

Yep, were a good 10-12 pts better than Clare.

Most of the game was fairly uninspiring from a neutrals perspective, but finally livened up in last ten mins

Well done Cork, a hard earned Munster title

I'm trying to remember the last time the ref didn't give cork a free.

Fair ****s too Cork, everyone said they didnt have a chance this year but they have proven everyone wrong

4th year in a row that the team who won the Munster Quarter final went on too win it

Could win the big one yet

So QFs will Include Tipp/Waterford and Clare/Wexford . Galway and Cork into each Semi final

Well done Cork. Totally deserved it we(Clare) did not play well and if you leave Cork to do the Short puck outs and do nothing well you get what we got

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 16,138 ✭✭✭✭niallo27

Are the quarters an open draw or are Clare and wexford kept apart

Congratulations to the Lee-siders, well deserved today. Clare lads were happy to fire wides from 60-70 yards all evening.

Clare and Wexford can't play each other as provincial finalists are kept apart.

Not all were but they could not get the ball due to the lads doing the 60-70 shots madness

???????????????????? Cork got lots of frees

They did in fairness. Constant fouling by the Clare backs

Cork were a lot more than 5 points better than Clare today. Scoreline flattering in the end.

Was hoping that the Clare boys might do it but no way they would have deserved to win today - poor tactics and too one dimensional.

Hopefully Cork or Galway will go on now to win the McCarthy - not a fan at all of this system where beaten teams come back in.

Couple of thoughts on today's game

Cork far superior in every department, great skill shown, result Dosent reflect their dominance

Clare are average, as I said in a previous post there living off 2013, haven't done very little since in Championship

This is not a surprise, cork won this in 2014, they may be young but the spine of the team is hugely expierenced

Now can they deal with the break? In 2014, they couldn't.

For me, Galway and Tipp are favourites
