I think Cody's forward play and stategy isnt right, but its a mute point anyway when your touch and striking is so far off. For mid July there is no excuse. Its most surprising given Cody knows the demands of a hurling season like no other. I dont know what to say tbh.

The players at his disposal are well below what he had for years. Cody was never a tactical genius. His genius was keeping them motivated year after year

He wasn't even in a position to tackle. He slapped across the shoulder and let go off the hurl at the same time. Could have got yellow for either offence

Yeah I wouldn't argue if he got a yellow for that offense.

So should I support the neighbours or deadly rivals unlike most parts of Wexford they are not exactly the same, being from Ramsgrange & the Hook :D

Despite the late WT goal before HT I still don't think the Cats are finished yet. :pac:

I would share your opinion, Cody does deserve credit during those glory years for his gameplan as it played to their strengths all the same. He may need to swallow his pride and maybe get a coach from outside the county with new ideas and freshen things up. Hurling has changed from the mid noughties for sure.

Waterford just constantly hit nothing balls into their forwards.

A bit of conviction going man to man and better ball and KK would be slaughtered.

Kilkenny are fairly bad. Waterford don't look great either.

The lads doing the radio commentary for WLR fm will need a pint after this. Five points up yet they don't sound confident.

Give it up Waterford. You will never beat KK. Shocking to give up that lead.

Did Waterford even score in the last 15 mins. The real winner will be the otger counties as this will take alot out of the victor.

I hope Kilkenny win this - Waterford should be hammering Kilkenny but they bottled it again - pathetic stuff.

It looks that way. Purely in their heads I think...

They were gone once Kk scored the goal and made a game of it. They didn't look like a team with the mental capacity for a fight...not a fight against KK anyway

Having said that its not really surprising. We have seen this Waterford on numerous occasions failing to finish through in games, withdrawing into their shell.

If Wexford, who themselves have had enough beatings from the Cats can close out the win despite KK scoring twice near the end of the match so can Waterford. :pac:
