    Lukaku to united now being strongly mooted
    Makes sense with rooney basically being paid to go to Everton .........hope they hold off till the prices are locked in
    Although I'm not sure he will be more or less desirable as a fantasy asset at united

    More for sure, the service he got at Everton was some of the worst I've ever seen from a top-8 team. Pricing will be important though.

    Any chance of it not being a done deal before FPL opens. Being at utd as opposed to everton increases his price by about a mil

    It's progressing very quickly but would imagine it won't be concluded until early next week

    Nah, they'll want him on the plane for their tour on Sunday.

    Utd first five fixtures:

    whu, SWA, lei, STO, eve

    Lukaku is going to be in 30% of teams to start the season.

    A well connected journal Craig Norwood said he will make his debut on July 15th alright .........If united sign Matic then pogba is going to interest me as much as lukaku

    Jim White says no deal done.

    Don't think it matters. He'll already be priced as either Utd or Chelsea.

    And as I fancy them to win the league I had in mind to go double defence but might need to go with 3 from the start now.

    I'd say you'll be really struggling to make up a squad given you'll probably only have ~65m left after those 3.

    The new PL season kicks off on a Friday night. Arsenal vs Leicester is the curtain-raiser on 11 August.

    Cue "techical problems" on the FPL site and mass panic as thousands of people are unaware having not completed their GW1 teams.
