i could be wrong but i reckon pader healy is a total fruad , remember thinkstoomuch1's views on a deacent manager like conor counihan , i would love to know what he thinks of this charade at the moment ,

paudi kissane is a serious coach in my opinion he should not be involved with limerick or any other county when cork are in so much trouble , he was available at the start of the year and healy never called him on board :(

    Fine win for the ladies.

Tomorrow should see yet another Killarney loss. Impossible to see anything different given how awful we have been playing and our record there.

Went to a couple of league games, and coupling this with the 1 point wins against Waterford and Tipp. I'll say kerry win by 7 points but would not be supprised by a 10+ win for kerry

+1 i thought he did a great job with the clare footballers when he was there. He should definitely be involved with the cork football team in future

Cork played a sweeper vs Tipp with the wind. Thats all that has to be said.

I reckon he would lambast him from a height.

Personally, I think he is seriously out of his depth. Probably a nice guy etc but it is a hard situation given what the ccb think of the footballers.

Will be watching behind the chair tomorrow.

If we win tomorrow it will be the biggest surprise in Cork football history in my lifetime

If my mother tongue is shaking the foundations of your state, it probably means you built your state on my land.

the players are still there though there should be only be few excuses , i am aware of the crap setup the county board gave them at the start of the year with the makeshift gym and that but several players won all irelands this team , you dont go that bad overnight

The players are there, absolutely, which is why scraping over the line in our last 2 games makes it all the more embarrassing. The whole set up is not good enough.

All one can hope for is a performance, give all you have and see where it gets us. Dont see us winning, just hoping we stand up to them and not roll over

Kerry are looking at a All Ireland Title. Cork are hoping for good performance thats where we are now. Amazing to see Powter at no4 is he tomark O Donoghue !!.

    Come on Cork!

At least stand up and fight to win! Hopefully we see them give it their all and not give away easy scores

    Up the Rebels!!!!!!!!!!

Stay within 5 of Kerry and we will be doing well I think.. I genuinely fear this could be an embarrassment.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,741 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Already I can see the team is set up wrong.

No man marking and everyone in our own half. Extra players marking space instead of men.

This looks like it will be over at half time

We look pretty clueless in the opening minutes, our defence look as if they are some marking instead of marking a man. No Kerry towards are being marked Tightly, joke.

Baffling how we are not pushing up on the their kickouts.

Just letting them run out with it gives them possession

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,349 ✭✭✭zetecescort

Did anyone expect any different? We might get a bit of fight for a few minutes after HT but will be surprising if we are within 10 at the end

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,559 ✭✭✭Mahony0509

Ian Maguire shoulda had a goal. Forgot to kick the ball ffs. This is terrible.

And then we send 2 of our knockouts straight to them, pitiful really.

I am already questioning why I am bothering to watch this.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,067 ✭✭✭irishfeen

    This is actually atrocious...

No tbh I said last night there could be 10-15 in this - Cork football is falling apart..

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,741 ✭✭✭The White Feather

I don't think there is actually much between them skillwise. The difference is how they are set up.Cork players marking space instead of men and Cork need to believe in themselves.

Cork should be acting like it is the second half against Tipp.

Just go for it and compete. Not 15 in our own half.We are now having a better period right now as we are beginning to get a bit of belief and actually go for it.

We have had some shocking wides like Walshs shot there and we could have had a goal. Mind you Kerry should have got one there too.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,349 ✭✭✭zetecescort

Maguire the only one going well so far. Somehow we are still in it

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,741 ✭✭✭The White Feather

Donaghy gives a pass and three players go to the guy he gave it to and then he gets it back for an easy point. Brain dead stuff from Cork. A simple one-two and they couldn't defend it.

This is what happens when no one knows what man they are meant to be marking so they all run to the one guy

  • Moderators, Category Moderators, Recreation & Hobbies Moderators, Sports Moderators Posts: 34,941 CMod ✭✭✭✭ShamoBuc

If the defence actually stuck with their men we might have a chance, only one defender seems capable of doing it.

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 1,559 ✭✭✭Mahony0509

Theres ALWAYS a free man. Its as if they playing a run-to-the-ball system.

If Sheilds isnt injured then Healy shouldn't be left back into the county

I presume he was when he was shifted into the corner.
