Another Kerry goal and a couple of points see kerry well in charge with a few minutes left.

A real pity we couldn't seal the win once we had a very good lead in the second half. This is a very good Kerry team and we certainly had them on the ropes.

Cork were unlucky last night but realistically the better squad won.

Very open game, well worth the €10, Midfield was crazy, Centre Backs for both teams didn't seem to hold the middle at all & so O'Toole (in patches) & Brendan O'Sullivan seemed to tear through at will.

Cork didn't seem to have the forwards on the bench to spring on, where as Kerry brought on Liam Carey who kicked 4 from play & just seemed to have better depth.

    Cork 0-4 Tipp 0-2 10min

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,349 ✭✭✭zetecescort

strong finish to the half for Tipp has them leading 1-7 to 0-8 at HT. Cork with the wind in 2nd half

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,349 ✭✭✭zetecescort

Tipp continuing as they finished the first half, leading 1-12 to 0-9 after 13min

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,349 ✭✭✭zetecescort

Tipp by 3 with 7 min left

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,349 ✭✭✭zetecescort

Cork battle back to draw the game, both sides exchanged points in the last minute of stoppage time. extra time to be played

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,349 ✭✭✭zetecescort

Cork 0-18 Tipp 1-15 half time

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,349 ✭✭✭zetecescort

Cork went 2 up but Tipp score a goal and a point to lead by 2. Cork free has it down to 1 with 2 plus injury time left

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,349 ✭✭✭zetecescort

Tipp went 3 up but an Evan Sheehan goal from a 21m free in injury time levels it for Cork. :) Cork 1-21 Tipp 2-18

Fairly poor form from Cork Co. Board to not allow game be moved to Monday night. Saturday replay is ridiculous, less than 48 hours recovery

When is the replay. Sounds like a thriller.

Talk of minor replay being moved to Monday evening

Proper order, making them play so soon again was ridiculous in the extreme.

Very little talk about the Kerry game tomorrow.Indicative of the low expectations of the Cork public I suppose.

This is all down to the Cork Footballers. Barely scraping wins against Waterford and Tipperary does not give the watching Cork public much confidence.

A history of being hammered by Kerry doesn't help either!

They have to step up and show what they can do. At least put in a good performance and maybe hopefully get the win. They have the ability but keep underachieving.

It feels like we have been going to watch the Cork footballers in hope rather than any confidence in the last few years. They need to restore a bit of pride in the jersey rather than crumbling under pressure or barely getting out of jail every time.

Having no expectations is in their favour. They need to come out and get a result. Time to step up and actually fight for that win with pride!

The Cork Camogie team really put out a statement today in their match against Wexford

    All-Ireland Senior Championship Group 2 Cork 3-18 Wexford 0-9

The Cork manager said after the game about Briege Corkery - "I'll be sitting down with Briege next week so there will be a decision made on that shortly"

    She may be back!!

    Fine win for the ladies.

Tomorrow should see yet another Killarney loss. Impossible to see anything different given how awful we have been playing and our record there.
