Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Yo,

We're going to look into getting a table booked in The Square Ball for the second test.

We need numbers, so shout in here if you're interested.

This guy's already put his name down in PM.

If I wasn't living outside the Pale these days I would. Sadly it'd take me nearly as long to get into town as watch the game itself!

I think 830am is too early for me to get to anywhere but my couch, but enjoy folks.

Awec's silence is deafening, isn't it?

    He knows his place.

He's called the Square Ball 14 times to enquire if they serve potato farls and is committing to nothing until he gets a response.

You have had that image sitting ready for me to reply to this thread!

I'm going to miss the match entirely. Can we do it again next week for the last test? I'm up for that.

WHat time can pubs serve pints?

Think it's 11 or 12. For the RWC in 2011 the Goat was serving sympathy pints at 10:30 after the Wales game.

We'll need sympathy pints much earlier than that for these matches.

I was hoping it was like 9:30 or something. :(

Depends on the pub. Early houses serve from 7. The rest serve from 10:30.

Totally unsure on the Sexton call. Its based on experience rather than form. Guess this call will finally put to death the argument of experience over form. Otherwise it will invigorate it

Except he's played well in his last 2 Tests and this is a beer thread. Ergo, concurrently and henceforth something, something.

Can we have a photo of you guys before the virtual arguments that normally keep you at safe distance over the web turn physical and you kick the ****e out of each other (possibly before half time)?

Did .ak arrive at exactly 12 minutes past? I bet he did.

He tells his missus the exact same thing.
"honey...I will arrive in exactly 14 seconds when the clock strikes 11.17...brace yourself"!!
    Enjoy breakfast lads!

I don't watch much 7s. Is it usual for a kicker to be as good as Dardis is at the drop-kick conversions? He seems to consistently get them even from wide out Edit: meant to post this in the 7s thread

If any of ye want a good breakfast to go with the third test, it was very good today!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 37,978 ✭✭✭✭irishbucsfan

I'm supposed to be doing the same thing next week so I might miss it but I've a week to try and get out of it. I thought I was cute organising to be on call during the tour...
