''Hello again, I'm Jim Lampley'' had some interesting thoughts on the fight.

Sugar Ray had some interesting thoughts also

    Andre Ward too

    Bisping

    Chael

The latter two both focus more on the power a boxer generates with his punches as opposed to an MMA striker

Lampley would be all over it if it were a HBO fight, no interest in his bias view.

Bonkers? You're so clueless it's funny. Conor was already offered the following:

Multi-Million $ offer for Lead role in a Predator re-boot:

    http://entertainment.ie/cinema/news/Conor-McGregor-turned-down-the-lead-role-in-a-major-Hollywood-blockbuster/389923.htm

Part in Guy Ritchie's King Arthur:

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/2710046-conor-mcgregor-turned-down-role-in-new-movie-king-arthur-says-guy-ritchie

7-figure offer to star in Vin Diesel's 'XXX':

    https://www.mmafighting.com/2016/12/15/13919536/vin-diesel-conor-mcgregor-pulled-out-xxx-movie-get-his-manhood-back-nate-diaz-ufc

There's nothing 'bonkers' about it. Conor can easily make massive money in Hollywood regardless of how bad his acting is if he didn't want to be punched in the face anymore.

You haven't a notion how big a star he is in America.

Course he can. Sure he'd probably won an Oscar in his first role and anyone who thinks he won't is a "hater". Rumours aren't offers. He'd maybe do one film, stink it out and never "act" again.

They should turn on his ring entrance music at his grave sure you'd never know :D

Well, whatever about Lampley. Is Floyd gonna force Al Bernstein into covering it? If so, pity him cos he's thinking the same as Jim.

    Where's Wallace?

So you prefer when people pluck PPV predictions from the sky rather than actually do a bit of research to make an informed guess?

"Ripped off" by the main event how? Every "expert" believes Floyd will demolish Conor. If you pay for it knowing this then you're not "ripped off", you're getting what you paid for.

OR we get to see something we've never seen before - either man getting flattened. Conor has never been dropped let alone KO'd and neither has Floyd.

We might get to see one of them hit the deck from a punch. For a lot of people that'd be worth the money to see.

Its so obvious that there will be some sort of ending that garauntees a second fight and more revenue for the two lads.

This is a circus and everything will be done to make sure its dragged out as long as possible.

It is definitely a circus, but I would be kind of surprised if they engineer a part II.

Conor has only a staged chance to come out of this looking good. Unless Mayweather somehow becomes very inept due to his "ring rust."

Did anyone see the film Black Mass with Johnny Depp in it? It's the one about Whitey Bulger and the twist is that there was no twist. what you thought was gonna happen at the start is what actually happened.

    That's this fight.

Ah good old Walshb back to his favourite talking point:

"If Conor does well it was rigged!"

Pathetic. Open up your mind to the possibility Conor might do well because of his own skill and stop trying to get your excuses in early if Floyd doesn't embarrass him.

    Let it go.

Conor has fooled you into believing him when he says he is going to win. Just admit it.

I have revised my prediction from 0.01 to 0.001 now......

    That's percent btw....

Conor hasnt a hope mate in a boxing match against Mayweather.
This is like Kilkenny or Tipperary playing Barcelona or Real Madrid in a game of soccer and vice versa. A money spinner which will help us identify the stupid in society in case Trump or Brexit hasnt done so already

Just think his style/stance is all wrong to trouble Mayweather. Be picked apart, fairly straightforward imo.

You wanna explain why you think his striking will trouble him
See we can all use smilies

It's not the same in my opinion...

Those comparisons don't work because boxing has the possibility to end the contest at any moment. A GAA team playing a soccer team over 90 minutes can't end the game with a flukey goal.

The same would be Tipp playing Real Madrid where first goal wins. Then it's possible Cathal Barrett takes a shot from long range that Navas makes a mess of and Tipp win the match.

Outpoint him? So, does that imply some kind of staging? Surely if the fight is full on legit, Conor won't see it to rd 12?

I am not sure even close to everyone thinks that Conor sees it to 12 should there be no twist. I know I don't.

Twist? Yes, likely we we a staged kind of spar where nobody gets hit too much and it carries on rd after rd with Floyd winning on points.

I think your twist is the likely outcome. Floyd could spend the first 8 rounds on a sun lounger smoking a cigar and still beat the bejaysus out of McGregor. If McGregor does land a lucky punch I think Mayweather will end it there and then though.

Mayweather vs McGregor........... behind the scences!! :P

I'm baffled by the bickering around this fight, clearly McGregor fans have drank plenty of his cool-aid but people arguing back are wasting their time and effort.

This whole thing reminds me of this film..
