    On their facebook page they said it was a training exercise in setting up a tow, she was left without out power as she would if broke down and was let drift to make it as real as possible.

    HSC Manannan was in Dublin Port this morning.

    What's interesting about this ferry is that between 2001-2006, she served in the US Navy. With a speed of 40 knots she was well suited to a fast transport role.

    It's just the bow (well one of them), no platform. The photo angle makes it harder to perceive. It's the exact same triangular section as in the top photo.
