First off, thanks for the words of encouragement after Limerick, it's a performance that still doesn't sit well with me but it's in the past now and I've moved on from it.

I had planned on just letting the log go but there's to much good training, racing and banter amount these pages for me to do that plus as Coach pointed out in his own log it's a great point of reference to look back on your training. Since Limerick I've done nothing but easy running, no races nor will there be anymore on Irish soil for the foreseeable future. Spent 3 glorious weeks in France where I managed to bump into Killerz and what else would we do only go for a run.

As of the middle/end of next month I will become a Dutch citizen for 5 years or so, my wife was successful in her application for a job out there so the Malone's are moving to Holland!!! It's something we are all looking forward to and an adventure for us all.

Will aim as before to update the log twice weekly with the training, the goal for the rest of the year being the Amsterdam Half Marathon on the 15th of October.

Best of luck with the move. I'm looking forward to hearing how the Dutch do things. I'm sure ye'll all have a great adventure!! Your only a couple of hours (if even that) away by train from so many countries that I'm sure you'll be able to do loads of running tourism too.

Best luck with move and training. Hope it's not as flat as they say and still room for some hill work :)

Good luck B! Congrats on the move, a change of scenery never does any harm. Nice and flat over there too, I hear, good running terrain no doubt.

Poor killerz, he can't go anywhere. Did he tell you about our lost weekend in Bushmills? :pac:
