Myles Garrett left practice today. Hope it's not serious.

The Rams have traded former No.2 overall pick Greg Robinson to the Lions for a 2018 6th round pick. As busts go, he is right up there. The Lions need help in a bad way after the injury to Decker, I doubt this will do it.

Yeah, they're bringing in plenty of O-linemen with Cyrus Kouandjio also signing, though he is recovering from hip surgery so won't be ready till training camp. And last week they brought in Tony Hills, but he looks a long shot to make the roster.
Just hope one of them can be at least adequate enough until Decker makes it back at some point during the season.

It really must kill to see your team whiff on a top five pick like that, being left thinking what they would be like with Khalil Mack, Anthony Barr, Mike Evans, ODB or Haha Clinton Dix, all of whom if memory serves they were linked with to some extent in the lead up to that draft.

I know it could've been so much better for them, but with 2 1st rounds picks at least they got one absolute stud in Donald. At least they didn't pull a Browns and pick Gilbert and Manziel.

I think you meant Weeden and Trent Richardson.

Well that was also pulling a Browns but wasn't that a few years before?

Ah yeah, and they might have turned a corner but it's just amazing how good the Browns are at being the Browns.

Did they draft the two in 14? Holy **** I didn't realise that, I thought Johnny football was drafted ages ago.

Yep , I thought it was before Gilbert for some reason, I had 2013 in my head. Didn't realise they had two picks in the first round in 2014 either. Obviously I don't pay enough attention to the Browns.

Amazing isn't it? Jonny doesn't have the #1 overall tag to go with the bust status, but he's a guy even Jamarcus Russell must feel better about himself looking at.

I'm actually genuinely shocked it's that recent. Man the Browns have made some terrible choices. Although Myles does seem like he'll be a beast maybe they are turning a corner? :D:D

At least with Garrett nobody can really accuse them of blowing the pick, because there was virtually nobody anywhere who was arguing anything other than that he HAS to be the first pick. Picking Manziel, on the other hand, was widely anticipated to be a disastrous move.

Garrett injured himself, while it doesnt look too serious it would be 100% Browns for him to have torn his ACL and miss the season

I dunno, bad luck with injuries sounds more like a Jaguars thing. Browns would be more along the lines of all other first round picks being immediate All Pros while Garrett is out of the league delivering milk for a living next year.

Could hurt himself doing that too:pac:

Given the Browns luck .. :D:D

Although I actually like what they have done most of this off season, a few years away still but they should be better this year.

    Decker is now a titan

I'm happy he got a new contract sorted this quick! I don't have a shred of distaste for the Titans, so I hope he can stay healthy and himself and Mariota have a phenomenal year!

Its a potent looking offence at the moment with Decker adding a solid pair of hands to what they had last year.

Whats your feeling on the off season Heli? Have to be happy enough?

Assuming he's healthy we've got a very good player.

There should be no reason we dont win the AFC South, we need to get over the hurdles of beating the Colts and the bloody Jags. Luck is missing camp, the Texans don't have a QB and neither do the Jags.

We have beefed up our WRs, we have a stable and very good o-line, arguable one of the top RB duo's, we've invested in the secondary.

tbh, with our division we should be getting the #2 AFC seed, and as ridiculous as it sounds we should be getting to the AFC championship game, but Mariota needs to stay healthy.

I think you are in dreamland to be honest. I know the off season is for unbridled optimism but seriously.

Jags have kept their scattershot QB, Texans don't have a QB and Watt is coming back from a major injury. Colts have Luck who is a great QB but who has just had surgery and still has his porous o-line.

We've addresses the issues (secondary) that led to us losing key games last year.

We beat Green Bay and the Chiefs last year, and Denver.

We should have beaten Oakland but ****ed that up.

    We play
    Raiders
    Jags * 2
    Seahawks
    Texans *2
    Fins
    Colts * 2
    Browns
    Ravens
    Bengals
    Steelers
    Cardinals
    49'ers
    Rams

We'll probably go 2-2 in the AFC West, im counting on wins Vs the Rams and 49'ers. Could probably beat one of the other two.

Expect we'll get 4/5 division wins. Split the AFC north 2/2.

so that is 8 to 11 wins, Raiders would imagine we'll lose against and Dolphins we'll beat.

This is the problem when you're **** for so long, we won 8 games last year without a secondary.

Titans should win the South, but Bortles did look a lot better after the coaching change. He's clearly no Luck or Mariota, but their defense could be flat out nasty... I've a weird feeling the Jags are going to surprise a lot of people this year.

I think the 2 seed is a reach but not an unreasonable one. One of my best mates is from Tennessee living here about 9 years now and this is the first year he's been optimistic about the team.

Really though you need to win at least 4 maybe 5 of those division games. For me depends how strong the Texans are. That defence could be absolutley lights out this year.
