I tried buying it with parcel motel (shipping and billing) and paypal as reported by other users but the order was cancelled after a few days

Have you your paypal address as your PM address?

The offer from motorola.co.uk appears to be back up for the Moto Z. It comes with the JBL soundboost and a case for £289 with discount codes:

    ZUKSUMMER
    UKWELCOME10

    Found the offer on hotukdeals

I went the parcel motel/paypal route, changing my paypal address to parcel motel address so hopefully it works out.

Keep us posted on the delivery farrelli, I'm tempted to get one but can't face the hassle I had at Christmas with Apple UK.

A few of us have done it. I think mine shipped on a Wednesday night from China, and I had it in my Parcel Motel by the following Monday.

Tempted to buy this and sell my Moto G5 Plus which is only two weeks old. Can't fault the G5 but I loves a bargain :)

Will do, I haven't heard anything back from them so far but I really need a phone as I'm currently using my dads old Galaxy S2:eek: to get me over the hump since my own phone stopped charging.

I know some people had success and others didn't with the UK Motorola site, seems a little hit and miss as to what the exact criteria is needed to get an order confirmation. If anyone else has ordered successfully from them please let us know what way you did it.

I think the offer closes tomorrow at midnight.

I ordered through PM, used PM address for billing through PayPal. Took a few days before they confirmed the order and shipped it.

I ordered on May 21st, it dropped in my PM locker in June 1st.

Great, that is what I did. Some people on hotukdeals appeared to be getting same day confirmations so I was starting to think that mine would be cancelled. Fingers crossed:D

I know what you mean, I was on the fence for so long you wouldn't believe! Probably not a bad idea to wait with the upcoming releases of the Oneplus 5, Honor 9, Moto Z2 etc. so there might be some more deals coming on last years flagships even though Oneplus don't tend to do deals on outgoing models.

Oneplus just announced that the OnePlus 2 won't ever be getting Android Nougat. I'd suggest not bothering with OnePlus phones if they're not going to update their phones beyond 12 months after launch.

I have a One Plus 2 since launch, after upgrading from a One Plus One and it's never given a minute trouble.

Girlfriend has a ceramic One Plus X and it's still perfect.

So my order was cancelled even though I changed Paypal address to PM address. I ended up ordering it again from amazon.de. It works out about €290 after delivery so just under €50 cheaper but doesn't come with the speaker or extra back cover and has the euro charger.

I think the speaker is really overrated anyway. Only used mine a couple of times. Bluetooth speaker for about €15 offers way better sound, and the convenience of being able to use your phone at the same time.

Boll*x, I missed this on Amazon.de, I would have got this instead of the G5 Plus which I paid the same price for

Its €296 with delivery and Irish tax rate from the same page if you go for the white/gold color option with Amazon.de as the seller.

I know I already bought the G5 Plus though a few weeks ago

It does not have a 3.5mm headphone jack. Might be an issue for some people.

Motorola Moto Z with Free JBL Speaker Mod and Style Cap £289.00 with codes @ Motorola UK

    Discount Code

ZUKSUMMER and UKWELCOME10 codes for this price.

Jesus.... they're running this every weekend.... except for the fortnight between when I ordered it from Amazon for 350 and when it was delivered and unboxed. Damn you Moto!

Lovely phone though. Only thing that bothers me is the lack of Miracast (Chromecast only :( )
No headphone jack = excuse to buy bluetooth headphones!

Battery seems small for a 5.5 screen, any opinions from those who have bought it?

It is small, and battery life does suck. I now have the HTC U11 and it only has a slightly larger battery, but battery life is at least 1.5x that of the Moto Z.

Buy yourself a battery mod and you're sorted, though.

Cheers for the info. Buying a battery mod for a new phone seems a bit nuts to me though:eek:

Don't get me wrong....day to day, you're fine, and the turbo charging is super quick if you want to give it a blast. If you've got a long day or you're travelling, then the battery mod would be essential.

I'm used to getting a couple of days out of current xiaomi so not sure I could get used to daily charging again

I find the battery ok. I thought I was going to need a car charger or to bring the plug to work but I haven't had any issues. It definitely lasts longer than my Nexus 5x.
