    First round mark my words...

Edit: That's a joke btw. It'll be a 12 round dance off. Floyd even said it last night, this fights about entertainment not sport.

But what if mcnugget hits him with a flying upside round house elbow to the ribs? floyd has never been hit like that before.

That's only 10 weeks away. Surely the so called "biggest fight in history" has a bigger build up than that?

Mayweather-Pac was 8 weeks between fight being signed and fight itself.

But the "Something BIG is Coming #BP" tweet was followed by this:

    https://www.bobbiparka.com/collections/parkas/products/mens-raccoon-fur-collar-parka-jacket-with-natural-fur-3-4

Bobbi Parka releasing photos of Conor advertising their gear.

I'm presuming he's launching a McGregor range for them. Calum Best and Rio Ferdinand have ranges already.

"Lads, I know it's summer'n'all, but fancy buying a Parka for 500 quid?"

The last 4 "something BIG" announcements from Conor:

    1. 24Option stock trading
    2. The Mac Life
    3. McGregor Fast
    4. Bobbi Parka

He's running the risk of entering "Boy Who Cried Wolf (Tickets)" territory.

To be fair, it probably worked. Comments section full of Bobbi Parka mentions. I wonder did he break Twitter's advertising rules with that tweet, there's a case to be made that he did but I'm not expert enough to say either way.

So big announcement is flogging ****e again? Boy who cried wolf is right, that sort of currency is just about all used up

I wonder what everyone will be wearing in Dublin this winter...

Who actually buys these extravagant items he pllugs? I really doubt many if any of his fans can afford it or would wear them in the first place.

He's dead right to get paid soft money to plug them though.

I can't believe this farce looks like it's actually going to happen.

Your talking about the two most money hungry men on the planet, it was always going to happen.

Sad but true I guess. 2 men with zero respect for their fans who will spend mega money to go see this nonsense.

I will watch it (for free only)I won't lie, and I'll probably get excited for it come fightweek but the good thing about it getting close is that it's closer to him coming back to MMA
If it does go ahead Aug/Sep, I see him back in the Octagon early December

    It's mega money for
    - an interesting match-up
    - 2 multi-champions of different sports
    - 2 of the biggest ego's in sport
    - 1 on career twilight, 1 on career high
    - 2 opposing fighting styles
    - once in a lifetime opportunity to see a fight like this
    - 2 sporting 'factions' head to head

I personally think it's going to be a great event where everyone wins.

Scratch the first one off the list and I'd fully agree. It's set to be one of the biggest sporting events of the decade but let's be honest, it isn't an interesting matchup when only one man can win it.

I still hope it never happens, only interested in him defending his belt.

It's a no lose situation for Mcgregor. Nobody expects him to stand a chance against the best boxer of his generation. I'd be happy to let Mayweather slap me around for 12 rounds for the money involved in this.

It's a huge cash grab operation that the casual fans can get excited about. Only one outcome in this and Mcgregor will be laughing all the way to the bank.

Floyds fighting style and lack of knockouts in recent history makes it a big payday with minimal health risk.

Mayweather wins easily after a bit of entertainment and they both get a huge payday. Conor demands rematch with relaxed rules and more MMA hits allowed. Another huge payday.

    MMA hits?

    MMA hits?

What's the question? I'm thinking about the likes of elbows or knees or any of the other hits that are allowed in MMA. When Mayweather wins the first one, the obvious financial route will be for a rematch - but there will be a move towards a combination of the sports to maintain box office.

Mayweather will never fight anything but Queensbury rules. He's said as much.

Sorry, I wasnt sure what you meant but Floyd will not face Conor in a Muay Thai fight, ever. He would likey be KO'd stiff inside the first 20 seconds.

Lol Floyd will in his cock let anyone elbow and knee him. Are you mental.

I'd imagine it'll be stipulated in the contract with a massive fine if it does happen on any MMA stuff but boxing

I wouldn't pay to the see the same circus twice, especially the sh*ttest circus in town.

I think everyone is agreed that Mayweather wins Queensbury handily. It's just a question of how much of an entertainment spectacle they agree to make it. Floyd wins and they both walk away with a sh?t load of money. No face lost - how could Conor ever have a chance at boxing only! But, the amount of money involved is just unreal and neither of them are dollar shy. But a rematch with the same rule won't cut it, so they have to have some change to guarantee the interest. Pads instead of gloves, or elbows allowed. There'd be hundreds of millions involved so I am sure that they will find something.

    No, they won't. It's boxing. That's it.
