Her recent comments on internment for Muslim extremists have received enormous backlash online.

One the one hand I'm thinking, well this is what happens when you give idiots a mouth piece and a platform. Who actually gives a fcuk about her opinion on anything?
And on the other I'm thinking, can nobody have an opinion anymore, even though it may differ from the masses, without receiving death threats?

The leftists always go all fascist when they don't like what they read

Vogue Williams is entitled to her opinion

As usual the PC brigade criticise with no alternative solution

I would love to see the their attitude if they were sitting in a pub on a Saturday night and a muslim came in with a machete trying to cut their throats

What have you achieved in life?

The same could be asked for you?

People should be free to express their opinion online if they are qualified to do so.

Qualified in this case would mean knowledge of the subject matter.

I agree. Being a member of an unlawful organisation is a crime because those unlawful organisations have illegal aims. Membership is tantamount to planning other crimes.

Illegal means are the reason they're illegal, not their aims. There's nothing illegal about wanting an united Ireland, or wanting to impose some kind of religious law. What's illegal about it when you are willing to break the law to do it.

As for yer wan in the OP. I had no idea who she was. She sounds like an idiot who's trying to be a poormans Katie Hopkins.

I'm not the one calling this woman a nobody. I understand I'm a nobody. However I'm not going online attacking this person because she does not have the same opinions as me and belittling her for it.
Typically the liberals attack with ad hominem attacks. It's both boring and pathetic.

I have never written into a paper and called for the jailing of people who have not been found guilty of a crime.

I don't know if that counts as an achievement since it didn't involve me doing anything. All it involved was me not doing/saying anything incredibly stupid.

If however I did get published in a national paper and said anything that stupid, I'd completely understand when people call me an idiot.

What if an atheist came in with a machete, would you like to see their attitude then?
I don't see what their religion has to do with it?

But death threats and threats of rape from "oh so tolerant" feminist men? A little extreme from the Far Left don't you think....

    Almost....Fascistic.

I like Vogue tbh. I like her a lot more than I like Radical Isislamisists. I hope people feck off and leave her alone, she's young and entitled to say what she thinks. So you don't agree with her sentiments? Tough tiddies. If it makes the Leftofasches feel better, she apologised. Personally, I think she shouldn't have. But then what she said didn't bother me, because last time I checked, young Models don't get to call the Political shots. It's like some group of spoons getting annoyed because a lad in a Boy Band says he thinks cars ought to be banned.

I think people like you should be rounded up and kept silent with ball gags. Don't like what I said, well you're not allowed voice your disagreement apparently. Isn't that how your version of free speech works?

I've never said I condone threats of harm against another. Anyone who made such threats is a turd. It doesn't absolve her from being a total pillock though.

I think you might have a point. The Missus also agrees 100% with you. In fact, she said she'd quite happily see me interred, with a ball gag, 6' under.

All I know about her is that Madonna wrote a song about her.

On a serious note, you can voice your disagreement all you like. That's life. Where it stops being alright is when you start making death threats etc against someone. Unless you think that she deserved to get death threats?

You've mentioned it. 35%. We get it.

I'm about as bothered as I am about some crap Vogue Williams said in an off-guard moment. What is it you'd like people to do exactly? Is there an aim in posting that stat? Would you like us to start manning the Borders? Or implementing Internment? Or ball - gags? Life plays out. If you're a pleb, and most here are, I know I am, you watch in bemused silence. 'Cos there's nothing else to do, every me and every you.
