Kahn said that all Major Cities have terrorist attacks and people should get used to it.

I be wary of him, and he plays the race card but worse out there

    I'm still wondering myself

I don't think defending terrorists as a lawyer should be held against him

Is there anything else on him

Misquotes from the Trump dynasty, but apart from that, nothing I know of.

”I enjoy cigars, whisky and facing down totalitarians, so am I really Winston Churchill?” (JK Rowling)

    Is that it?

There isn't a think wrong with defending terrorist suspects as a lawyer

They're among the most likely to be locked up on spurious evidence

You are incorrect. In future I'm going to call out liars as just that liars not fake news but exactly what it is lies.

"The Mayor of London revealed he had a “sleepless night” after the recent bombing in New York, and said major cities around the world “have got to be prepared for these sorts of things” to happen when people least expect them."

"Sadiq Khan has said he believes the threat of terror attacks are “part and parcel of living in a big city” and encouraged Londoners to be vigilant to combat dangers."

"That means being vigilant, having a police force that is in touch with communities, it means the security services being ready, but it also means exchanging ideas and best practice”,

It's the breakaway mosques that they should be looking at. The one in Blackpitts is made up of the more extreme and radicalised members and it's obviously getting a larger number of members as it's bought new premises and is building on a huge new mosque, coffee shop and museum in the next few years. Obviously expecting a lot more members in the years to come. Hopefully this is being monitored by gardai and the extreme members deported.

    Ha ha fat chance!

What's your evidence/source for this alleged radicalism? The US govt Wikileaks memo?

You're right about the Mosques being a problem. Their financing & beliefs should be looked into & if any fundamentalists connections found, then closed down or not given permission for expansion. But I'm sure we're too fond of Saudi lucre - just like in England - for that to happen.

It's amazing how many apologists for British murder campaigns there are on boards.ie.

Also amazing how off-topic pro provo posts rarely get yellow cards or bans but anti provo ones always get picked up by certain mods. Wonder if this will be a case in point?

And he didn't say that either.
Can you not stick to either actual facts or options, and stop posting stuff that is demonstrably false - it really doesn't add anything and its very easy to see through.

Of course but just accepting it as Part and Parcel should not cut it.

If you think otherwise you just side with bombers

It gets worse, and here lies one of the fundamental problems with the security forces in the UK.

    Just a light extract;

"Security agencies in the UK are under pressure to explain how an inquiry two years ago into one of the men who carried out Saturday night’s terror attack was downgraded.

Pakistan-born Khuram Butt, who was known to British police and MI5, was named yesterday by police in connection with the attack.

A member of the public had also reported him to an anti-terror hotline."

There's only so much the Security Services can do. There are at least 23,000 Islamic extremists in the UK. Even will all the big data, surveillance programmes, and CCTV, it still take manpower to investigate each individual and their potential links. Some might be benign, or in a 'sleeper' mode. Others are highly active and immediate threats. For the immediate threats, that means 24/7 surveillance by trained, experienced officers.

And it takes roughly 50 officers in a rolling capacity around the clock to monitor ONE SINGLE SUSPECT.

The bottom line is the the UK is swamped, utterly swamped with potential threats. Which is why I fear this is going to end in sectarian attacks somewhere down the line.

Did he say it in Saudi Arabia? The home of the people who started it all!

Trump can take it up the Devils Pike for all I care.

Bush, Obama and now Trump have sold their sole to Saudi, the same men who caused 9/11.

What a kick in teeth to people who lost their lives that day.

    Trump actions are disgusting

The arms deal with them is awful, so is the fact that they're allies with the US. There's no defending that situation. One could argue he gave a speech about rooting out extremism over there, but it falls far short given the relationship between the two countries. It's sad that money speaks louder than morals.

A swift reaction is the best they can hope for

Any one of these suspects can take a knife and climb into a van

Having been to Saudi Arabia and how they treat some of their Citizens is nothing short of disgrace.

And now America is in bed with them.
