I don't think people who are concerned about extremism are islamophobes.

    We're agreed so

For the record I was referring to Irish woman who have borne children to Muslim fathers. They deserve all the misery they get.

    / :pac:

Glad you apologists can see the funny side! Tell that to the victims of last nights attack or the Manchester victims!

It was the funny side of a stupid plan. This attack is being used to push an agenda. The plan won't work and will just create more attacks. Is that what you want? You have proposed a plan and your defense of it is to say not supporting it is disrespectful of the victims. Come up with a plan I could believe actually working and we can talk.

As for ricero and applauding potential "justice squad". If any such squad actually found a single actual Islamic terrorist I would be shocked. Heck if half the victims of these squads were not Hindus mistaken for Muslims (see a relatively recent attack in the US) I would be shocked.

There is a radical Islamic element who are very keen to destroy the western way of life and their goal is for Britain to capitulate and fall to the Sharia way of life and in their own words they will not rest until the black flag of Islam flies over 10 Downing St.

Some people need to watch the documentary, My Neighbour, the Jihadist.

We'll see the same sneaking regarders celebrating the latest cultural diversity incident.

We'll hear the Mosque that these men went to condemn them and we'll find out shortly after the most violent and horrendous views have a home there.

We'll see the same gloating that they were British born when it comes out they were.

The same wilful denial just to protect a voting block, their ideological position and the Gays, Jews and Women can just suck it up.

Yes, as the numbers increase we shall also see a rise in the number of terror attacks. That's the scary thing. What will the situation be like in a decade or two from now? How will the security services be able to deal with the situation? It doesn't bare thinking about.

    What a mess we've imported.

I am not sure it is that easy to address the issues. There is a huge difference in the culture, religious belief driving these attacks, as well as the historical ideology.

Nobody said it would be easy. But there is no other solution only varying degrees of reaction.

Britain and Europe are just going to have to live with such horror attacks and not let them destroy society and peoples lives. There is no short term solution in open society, alas.

A very small step is to crack down on Mosques that allow militant preaching, advocation of violence and murder.

The problem would be with that approach that so many Mosques would be closed down that people could no longer hide from the problem.

People aren't going to take this lying down, they certainly aren't going to just live with it without end.

Another very small step would be to bin MultiCulturalism, end migration to Europe from areas that are culturally hostile to the West.

It was big business who pushed for this importation so as to break wage bargaining power, to create additional demand. The Left went along with it because they believed it had something to do with Internationalism.

I'm an admirer of Duterte in the Philippines and his popularity speaks for itself. You wouldn't have a billion dollar drug cartel running the streets of Dublin if they were assassinated on sight.

I think we would do with a bit more of that kind of justice.

Until the House of Saud (and to a lesser extent Qatar, the UAE and Bahrain) is overthrown and the violent extremism they fund and export stops radical Sunni Islamic terrorism will continue to flourish across the globe.

The sheer madness of not totally ostracising the regime that is the source (both ideologically and financially)of the wave of Sunni Islamic terrorism since the 1970s but literally cuddling up to it is mind boggling.

Such a move would only increase the hostility and resentment. There is no overnight solution, other than vigilance, tolerance and respect.

    Warning Lefty Alert

Sorry mate i dont want to be always looking over my shoulder when i go about my daily business or worry about my mrs getting wiped out if she goes shopping.

Neither do i want to tolerate and definitely not respect scum who want to kill me and mine or force me to believe their hocus pocus ****e.

I suggest you shove your tolerance and respect. Something needs doing and it needs doing now we have all been far to tolerant for far to long.

Or indeed rabid islamophobes. Life is full of assholes unfortunately.

plenty to have a phobia about actually

    https://www.theguardian.com/world/2016/nov/21/germany-sharia-police-court-ruling

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sharia_patrols
Just have a google for sharia law patrols on youtube

What happens when the % of people with these views are enough to hold political sway? Lefty geniuses will see Europe ruined

This is a clash of civilisations. Middle East meets West. Those saying more people are killed by car crashes, so dont overreact, miss the huge change that could occur if we keep importing this.

    Worth a watch
Quarter of British Muslims sympathise with Charlie Hebdo terrorists
Some 27 per cent of British Muslims sympathise with Paris gunmen, while more than one in ten say satirical cartoons "deserve" to be attacked

Wake up before its too late, 20 years time it`ll be your children or grandchildrens problem and it`ll be 100 times worse.

Your approach will not work either. It actually ensures that the situation will escalate and that the electorate will search for a radical solution themselves.

That society has come to a point that large centres of Worship where rape and murder and violent hate are preached are considered untouchable and above the law is a the opposite of vigilance, tolerance and respect.

How about the Left today agree to a very radical proposal I have.

Anyone who preaches to a public calling for the murder of Jews and or Gays be jailed.

Only a minor point but if we had left those mid-east dictators in place the UK might be able to deport some of these extremists.

    Worst mistake ever

That's not a radical proposal. Incitement to hatred is already an offence.

Amazing the before the news even broke the police had tracked and gunned down the 3 attackers.
Not sure that would be the case in Cavan.

    Is Cavan on a hitlist?

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.
