    You'll find that most of the Radical Islamic Terrorists in the UK in the past decade did just that.

    They went out on the lash every weekend going to pubs and clubs. They did drugs. They lived integrated normal lifestyles.

    Get ahead of the inevitable that other countries are going to do anyway, namely, close borders (and that's not just for immigration, its for everything from economy to plain old cultural protectionism).

    There are enough people here already, more than enough if you count the cost of everything like housing and failing health systems etc.

    When it comes to muslims, specifically, it is only logical (if harsh) that a growing muslim population provides the cover necessary for extremism to breed and grow, giving the means for increased communication, information, materials and so on.

    And for those already here, a severe scrutiny should be cast until terrorism of this kind subsides for a (very) prolonged time.

    Its only a start, and it doesn't fix all problems at all. But it is easily the most logical initial step. And as I said above, other countries are going to do it anyway.

    I don't think banning anything, or deporting anyone is needed.
    Just freeze the situation, as we are right now, and deal with it.

    No one needs to be sent home, if they are not identified as a threat, they're welcome, and they were lucky to get here before immigration was ended as a consequence of terrorism.

    If they are identified as a threat, it will be easier to monitor, and maybe with sufficient information, deal with them. They might not be spotted, and might still kill, but at least even in that situation, the pool of potential terrorists is reduced. I don't think all Muslims are potential terrorists. Only a minority. Let's deal with the minority.

    This is not a miracle solution, and may not solve the problem at first, but this is a first essential step.
    Propaganda and radicalization happening within the country and online also need dealing with of course. It obviously goes hand in hand with the above.

    And as I have also said, the bigger problem it seems, is not so much the inaction, but the REASON for the inaction.

    And that reason, to put it quickly, is the defence force maintaining the status quo.
