She doesn't look that physical. It might be the right choice. What do you want her to do? Strap a blue light to her head and go jogging down to the Thames, roaring "It's OK, I'm Here!"

I'd be inclined to agree. Better for her to try and get some rest (as much as possible under the circumstances) while the police and others investigate and gather accurate information for a full report in a few hours.

You can be sure she'll be woken up if it was necessary

Vauxhall incident was a stabbing, but unrelated.

Talk about the worst possible timing for a regular run-of-the-mill stabbing.

Well I'm not sure where the best place to show strong and stable leadership is -but it certainly isnt the bed.

    Theresa off to bed

    '' i'll deal with it tomorrow ''

you mean "ill release a statement about being "strong and stable", and then do f*ck all about it to stop this happening again".

    "British born"

The Manchester bomber was born to Libyan refugee parents who were too hard line in their religious beliefs for Gadaffi. His parents shouldn't have been allowed enter in the first place. Islamic terrorism is a wholly imported problem.

Exactly! People using that excuse, as if that kind of excuses it. How many offspring born to refugees, who have come to Europe en masses over the last couple of years, are future terrorists? Imagine how large the numbers will be then? We need to do something about it now.

"....supporters of so-called Islamic State have been cheering the incidents on social media, BBC Monitoring reports."

Seriously, they are not even afraid of being punished to cheer online for this. Is this enough to get on a watch list?

Sounds more like a police operation, however on another note, surely the Manchester concert can't go ahead tomorrow?

That arrest happened earlier this evening. It's not happening now.

All religions should come with a very large asterix to the effect that what is preached may or may not be true and we cannot know for sure if what is preached is the word of god or a prophet. And all preachers should be made to add this qualification to their preaching, otherwise they should be prevented from preaching. There are too many brainwashed nutcases out there, and the preachers are ultimately to blame.

And the books they preach from should be "modernised".

That's what fooking annoys me. Why the fook are we accepting people into our country too who don't accept our values and morals. Not like minded people at all.

The sad truth is that it will take a similar attack here (and it'll come at some point I think given we've been listed as a target and the amount of US and potentially UK (with Brexit) companies here) before "we" collectively grasp that the people who carry out such attacks don't care that we're "up for the craic" and make Guinness.

People like Zappone and Fitzgerald are only increasing that risk with their immigration policies

I'm as much Provo as you are UVF..

I detest the UVF with a vengance.
I have always condemned attacks on civilians regardless of the perpetrators...

Depends what your version of civilians is though? and what about security personell?
But you can't bring yourself to condemn their suppliers, colluders, and handlers in the RUC/UDR/British Army. You've even described Harry Breen (known Glenanne Gang colluder as a 'fine Policeman' and refused to condemn his activities)

    Disgusting.

You Provo's types really are such hyprocites, quite amazing how you are trying to turn the tables on me after all my posting tonight against any & all Terrorism.

Nice try, but terrorism is terrorism, and the PIRA did their fair share, and you support them, do you not?

ISIS attacks bad, PIRA attacks good.

The hypocrisy of you IRA supporting people is beyond belief.

    Mod: Banned

Says the person who refuses to condemn RUC/British collusion with the mass-murdering ISIS-like unionist paramilitaries.

This. "Man attacks crowd with knife!"

    Crowd beats man to pulp.

Another victory for radical Crowdism. Should learning Shoe-Jitsuey be made compulsory? Given that we are due to be beset by knife-wielding Believers?

    People with knives

I mean it's likely. But how many might be connected to the actual terrorist incident? Considering that the Vauxhall stabbing seems to have been unrelated.
