Could all 3 sites be as a result of the same 3 people in the van and them fleeing the original scene?

Burough Market and London Bridge, maybe, as they're close by, but Vauxhall seems a good distance away, so not sure. Yep - about 2 miles between London Bridge and Vauxhall.

Police reportedly have shot two people (as per BBC).

That is probably accurate. Although the Mail is saying 5 locations have been involved, so they're probably on a 'marauding' style attack. I don't know the other 2 locations, but there was mention of an incident at the Shard tower.

I think it's just two sites now, the Vauxhall incident doesn't seem to have been real.
    Aah, I was wondering alright.

looks stable for now which is a positive, however details yet to emerge, i think theres very tight police control on this one.

The lack of real updates is a little worrying in so far that it is still ongoing nearly 3 hours at this stage now

The Vauxhall incident appears to be over and unrelated.

    "British born"

The Manchester bomber was born to Libyan refugee parents who were too hard line in their religious beliefs for Gadaffi. His parents shouldn't have been allowed enter in the first place. Islamic terrorism is a wholly imported problem.

That's what fooking annoys me. Why the fook are we accepting people into our country too who don't accept our values and morals. Not like minded people at all.

Was irishness the problem when the IRA was bombing the UK?

Irishness isn't an ideology that glorifies death.

'Potential act of terrorism' - Theresa May
Prime Minister Theresa May has said the "terrible incident" in London is being treated as a "potential act of terrorism".
She will chair the government's emergency committee COBRA on Sunday morning.

Ive always loved the name COBRA since I learned that it stands for Cabinet Office Briefing Room A.

    Its so British.

    Radicalised Alan Davies fans?

Could this attack have something to do with the pedestrianization of Norwich city center.

All religions should come with a very large asterix to the effect that what is preached may or may not be true and we cannot know for sure if what is preached is the word of god or a prophet. And all preachers should be made to add this qualification to their preaching, otherwise they should be prevented from preaching. There are too many brainwashed nutcases out there, and the preachers are ultimately to blame.

And, astonishingly, those officers will now be put under immediate investigation, such is the level of political correctness in the UK police. That means they cannot operate as firearms officers until the investigation has been completed.

Ha, another Provo crawls out of the woodwork

I'm as much Provo as you are UVF.
well come on then and condemn the London attacks, go on, I dare you.

I have always condemned attacks on civilians regardless of the perpetrators.
Oh, and by the way, I just did condemn Loyalist mobs

But you can't bring yourself to condemn their suppliers, colluders, and handlers in the RUC/UDR/British Army. You've even described Harry Breen (known Glenanne Gang colluder as a 'fine Policeman' and refused to condemn his activities)

    Disgusting.

We are witnessing the lockdown of modern society as we know it.if you think going through airport security is a pain in the ass wait and see what is coming down the line.security checks will be rampant and frequent.the worst is yet to come.

I think the most likely thing that will happen is that, over time if these attacks increase, people will just stop going to pubs and concerts etc. As a result these places will close down and we might as well be living under the Taliban

The Daily Mail seems to have the wealth of information so far (they are after all the world's most read news-site).
Three men with large knifes, but being described as 'Mediterranean' on their website

    Other news feed aggregators: http://www.newsnow.co.uk/h/Hot+Topics/London+Attacks

Newsonterrorporn is actually becoming quite sickening.

It was so much easier to blame it on Them. It was bleakly depressing to think that They were Us. If it was Them, then nothing was anyone's fault. If it was us, what did that make Me? After all, I'm one of Us. I must be. I've certainly never thought of myself as one of Them. No one ever thinks of themselves as one of Them. We're always one of Us. It's Them that do the bad things.

She doesn't look that physical. It might be the right choice. What do you want her to do? Strap a blue light to her head and go jogging down to the Thames, roaring "It's OK, I'm Here!"

Erm? Of course police killing people should be investigated regardless of circumstances. In a case like this it should be routine.

This sort of thing happening so regularly, starts to put global warming accords in the shade somewhat.

Can we, at least at this stage, acknowledge the victims of this atrocious attack and say RIP to any victims.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 1,426 ✭✭✭Neon_Lights

Lets all face it, being politically correct costs lives. We know which particular point of view perpetrated these attacks. Why can people who support radical islam, enjoy the freedoms of western society, without coming under more official scrutiny?

Ship em off to the orkneys, like the lepers they are

The New York Times, having covered themselves in glory with their reporting of details of the Manchester attack, have displayed a stunning lack of timing:

There have always been immediate investigations whenever there's been an officer involved shooting. Standard procedure, nothing to do with PC. As far from astonishing as you can get.

What are the consequences for the UK general election campaign?

The vote is only 5 days away so will we see campaigning postponed again? There must be some fear that there could be another attack between now and Thursday.

Vauxhall incident was a stabbing, but unrelated.
