The arndale centre has been evacuated with lots of people running out crying they don't know what is happening though

The families of extremists absolutely need to be held responsible if they were in close contact prior to attacks like this / leaving for Syria etc.

Look at the Halawa family and the little "holiday" their son decided to take. His passport should be revoked and the rest of the family returned to Egypt.

Take a look at any of the Muslim converts in the UK who went to fight for ISIS. You didn't notice when your son started dressing like a Saudi Sheikh and grew a **** off beard. It is negligence at best and should be prosecuted.

Hopefully false alarm at the Arndale centre.

The harshest and angriest response to these atrocities isn't always the best one. In fact, it never is.

The response of doing nothing is even worse.

Whats your solution and whats your vision for future European immigration?

These attacks aren't due to recent immigration issues.

Westminster Attack: "The attacker, 52-year-old Briton Khalid Masood, drove a car into pedestrians on the pavement along the south side of Westminster Bridge and Bridge Street"

Paris Attack: Abdelhamid Abaaoud was a Belgian-Moroccan, born in Anderlecht, a suburb of Brussels, Belgium. Salah Abdeslam (born 15 September 1989) is a Belgian-born French national of Moroccan descent.

Brussels attack: Ibrahim El Bakraoui was born on 9 October 1986 in Brussels and raised in Laken, a residential district in northwestern Brussels. Najim Laachraoui was born in Ajdir, Morocco but raised in the Schaerbeek neighbourhood of Brussels, where he attended a Catholic high school.

There's more I could mention. 3 of the London 2005 bombers were born in Leeds/Yorkshire. The other was born in Jamaica.

Now I'm no apologist for immigration, I certainly don't want unrestricted immigration to Europe. However, I can clearly see that the problem isn't with immigration, it's to do with radicalisation of loner young men who are on the edge of society.

You don't have to be an "apologist" to feel that hatred and inhumanity will only breed more hatred and inhumanity.

    Hatred and inhumanity win wars.

You're just rolling out non sensical cliches.

A woman reported suspicious behaviour to security during the concert, who basically told her "how would you like to be accused of this?"

    https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1763291003685489&id=164665060214766&_rdr

Why couldn't they have asked her (the agitated woman acting strangely)to come to the office and just talked to her to try to gauge her state of mind or something? I'm sure there'd have been a way of checking it out. They wouldn't need to be really heavy handed about it.

Why don't they check bags etc?

Fair play to the woman in the video for staying so clear headed, although she's probably a bit shocked.

Well pandering to it and stifling discussion and hoping the problem goes away isn't working either

Surprised by the lack of coverage of the terror attack on today's radio shows. I know people will say "well we dont really know anything, they cant keep saying the same thing"... But they have some oul harpie name dropping on RTE and it seems just a bit trite.

They're attacking civilisation, our culture, our way of life. They don't care about much, they're so consumed by hate they're willing to sacrifice themselves. The one thing they do aeem to care about is their religion. Take that from them.

You were only complaining about Newstalks coverage a short while ago? Pat Kenny went back to it a few times, and you're saying that RTE are covering it, so what's left? That's all the current affair shows covering it.

So you're saying it's wrong to feel hatred and contempt for an extremist who gladly murdered 22 innocent kids... I'm awestruck by your subservience to these barbarians.

Absolutely not. The majority of Muslims are good people. Unfortunely even 5% of Muslim extremists is an absolutely huge number.

Unfortunately we can all argue here till the cows come home nothing will be done (I'm not sure what can be) we will all say it's terrible it will be condemned by politicians and world leaders we will have a few prayer services probably put an aul monument up and move on for a few weeks months and it will all happen again with another attack again and we will all argue about it all again for 100 pages on boards what can be done I don't no but somebody sure as hell has to do something

Where are you plucking 5% from?

75 million Islamic terrorists do you reckon?

It's not even 0.00005%. How could you possibly imply that 1 in 20 Muslims are terrorists or terrorist sympathisers?

You said they all have something in common. Yes, they're Muslim. So what's your solution?

I don't think anyone is ignoring the fact that they are radicalised fanatics.
The question is how do we deal with that?
