84-8, his last amateur bout was a highly controversial loss in the Olympic semi finals by all accounts.

Maybe you're joking, but are you giving Floyd's record here?

:o I completely misread the previous post, I though it was Mayweathers record what was the question. Sorry about that, blaming tiredness!! :o

BTW, the highly controversial loss was only so to the Anericans.

I read an article about it somewhere (possibly bleacher report) last year about the chap that beat Mayweather and he is pretty much scraping buy in a tiny one bed house in Bulgaria.

I remember watching a video about that.

Yes, one of the all time great amateurs from the 90s, Todorov. He won 3 world titles I think, may have been consecutively too.

Beat two of our greats in McCullogh and Paul Griffin. He never got gold at the Olypmics, however. Bit like Carruth's Barcelona victim, Juan Hernandez, a true world number 1 for several years who never got the gold.

Wayne was lucky in 1992 not to have to face Todorov in the semis, Todorov being upset by the Korean fighter in the QFs.

I hope that if this **** show is gonna go through that there's a decent undercard.

John Kavanagh Vs Floyd senior would be a decent undercard and set the tone for the night.

Michael Buffer vs Bruce Buffer in a hell in a cell format could be an option too :P

Guys, I was being serious. Like Nicole Scherzinger vs J Law in a bra n' panties matchup..

I can't see Jude Law signing on for that. Not in public anyways.

I was gonna scoff at the idea of the conservative MW going for the KO but he'll hardly have to think about it! I'll definitely watch but I'm not gonna buy..

This would be one fight that would need no undercard. Why you think it needs a decent undercard is puzzling...

Give some up and comers some exposure. Maybe 1 or 2 boxing fights and 1 or 2 MMA. They don't have to be great match-ups either. It's not like half the people watching will realise. But yeah, most will tune in for the big one so why bother paying a few guys 60-100000...

It absolutely needs no undercard. It could be all about the sh?tshow up the top.
But Floyd would be insane not to use it as a a springboard for some of his guys. Ditto Conor

I assume Mayweather would carry him for a few rounds to at least give the impression of a contest, but it won't change the fact that the fight ends whenever he feels like going home.

A WWE feel off it, no doubt. Both sides in on the con.

that's a good promo but if y'all into boxing and promos then look no further than gorillaproductions. Hate to say ''itodoso" but even Floyd said the other night he'd like to have someone like 'Tank' on the undercard of this possible fight. Can anyone see this going against GGG v Canelo?

In line with this WWE level farce, Mayweather should come out to this:

    Conor on points
Mayweather really couldnt go wrong making this fight.

Makes a fortune . A sparring session would be tougher than the fight and gets that 50-0 record.

I agree, but to be fair to mcgregor, if it was a ufc match, i think mcgregor would win hands down

Pity that other great lad Bruce Lee isn't still around.
Video has emerged of him demonstrating lightening reflexes, and the good ole 'one inch punch' on old cinefilm.

Did that person take their mask off?

I'd safely say that I'd take that dude.....

    I wouldn't take McGregor though.
