Overpaid Jobs

There's so many overpaid jobs in this state. The obvious one's like politicians and that but who else do you think is in an overpaid job?

Some people who sit at desks in offices on 50+ thousand a year. Crazy. What occupation deserves to get paid over 100k? None in my opinion.

What jobs do you think are overpaid? Are you in an overpaid job? I personally think my job is overpaid by a few thousand.

Is that why you've spent $20m on trips to your own resort? Seems like a solid business plan.

Ah in fairness, there's different types of researchers.

There are the ones trying to cure cancer and then there are the ones ringing your house phone unsolicited to find out how many people in the nation watched Fairly Shitty last week

You do realise how much IT enables businesses?

The people who work in government departments do **** all work. I used to work/know people who work in there.

As for teachers, well they get their four months of holidays and pretty much can't get fired. For a pay scale that starts around 30k, that's a damn good deal imo.

Well I didn't spend anything. Wasn't my money to begin with :D . Take it up with the little people who actually pay tax that goes towards these things.

There's some people who sit on their holes on the computer all day who get their pay raised to 70k plus over time and then there's some who break their backs doing manual labour for years and are on pittance. Is that fair?

I think the dole works out at around 9,000. It's not a lot really is it? Could you live on it?

Whoever it is on the staff of thejournal.ie gets paid to press CTRL-C, CTRL-V all day, whatever they're being paid, it's too much

Why does it have to be fair.

For as long as I remember the message has been if you don't get an education then you'll end up in a minimum wage job.
Those that work hard and get an education get better jobs and in general earn more money,
It may not be fair but it's a really simple life lesson.
