    Always been terrible

I know but to see a tour player putt like he did in the first 3 holes yesterday is incredible. The first putt on 12 (his 3rd) he left about 4 feet short from 15 feet.

DJ denied 4 in a row by Harman's 28 foot putt on the 72nd hole.

What a putt after the fluffed chip, great reaction too

A chance at 4 in a row. Pat Perez in playoff if it had happened.

Spare a thought for John dalys first pga tour win yesterday since 2004, albeit seniors tour . He staggered home with 4 consecutive bogeys to win by one .
There is a fair chance he has blown his winnings already

    With four ex-wives, that's probably a month's alimony payments!

Anyone watching the players, Rory made a bit of a mess at the 10th. Carelessly tries to tap in a 15 incher and it runs 4 feet past.

One lone birdie for Shane Lowry.....and three bogies and one double. :(

Looks like he's been in the gym too.
Martin kaymer hitting 9 iron 174 yards pin high is just ridiculous.

Adam Scott -6 going to the 17th and leading. Finishes DB DB and -2

Really tough out there today it seems...and that's for the early starters.
Will only get more brutal as day goes on.
-5 leading by the end of today possibly?

At the risk of cursing him, Rory is having a solid round. If he can get in one or two under he should be in decent shape. Definitely is tougher out there today.

He's a little eratic, but holding it together nicely

    Shane is doing the opposite

Shame the coverage doesn't start til later...this seems like particularly tough going today...mcgirt leader at -5 thanks to not having hit a ball yet...
    Carnage!

Although lots of players managing level rounds out there (plus or minus a shot)...should make for a very compact leaderboard by tonight.

What was the story with Billy Horschel there? Chips in from off the green, throws club at caddy/bag and walks off in a huff whilst his playing partner is still on the green. Knob.

    Video...

No idea, there wasn't really much made of it in the media. It's just a shame the caddy didn't wrap the club around the di**head's neck.

Sometimes I think it'd be cool to be a Tour caddy... then I see videos like this and change my mind. I'm fairly sure I'd have had to bury that wedge in the back of the ignorant pr*ck's head!

Can't turn up the volume what's his excuse?

Today's round has seemed a bit dull. Missing a few of the big guns at the top and the play in general hasn't been all that exciting.

Basically rambles on about how much he wanted to make the cut and was trying really hard and had some birdies and some bogeys...yada yada...golf gods  yada yada said he was laughing how the golf gods take and then give back and that was his reaction and didn't mean to throw it hard or at his caddy. Comes across as a tosser in the video.
