Small and expensive! The wooden ones look nicer but the plastic ones do the same job for 65% less cost and can last as long if looked after. Suppose with the top opening heat can escape quicker if over heating the free standing plastic tend to hold the heat at the top.

No longer being able to dig... ALDI have excellent sturdy hand tools at E 1.99. Got a trowel and also a small hoe' on one side a sharp wide blade, on the other three sharp prongs. Excellent for stubborn weeds.

And clearing moss on stone too.

I lost my others when I moved.

Picked up the tap splitter in Lidl last week - nice bit of kit, does exactly what it says on the tin. Screws onto the existing tap and gives two outlets, both of which can be turned on or off, and both end in the fitting that a Hozelock hose snaps onto. Will allow me to have a hose permanently connected and have a second tap free to fill buckets etc.

Picked up an electric (cordless) mower/strimmer duo from the Argooose 199stg.
Generally pleasesd so far, think it's 20% off price currently.

If you've a very large uneven and rock filled lawn it may not survive.
Otherwise it's handy for hassle free s/trimming.

Hopefully sturdy and affordable go together but Iv been looking for a smaller wooden table for my own BBQ to replace the stand part. It's only a 2ft x 2ft but Iv found best value in ikea if you are ever making the trip.

Adverts/done deal is another option?

Hi all,
I have a garden approx 200 sq.m give or take that I have dug over with an excavator, I need it rotavated and levelled (slight slope going to the back). Any ideas on how much this would cost or how long it would take to do it myself and the best way to go about it? Anyone with any recommendations would be appreciated. I just plan to grass the lot as all other areas of the garden and yard around it are complete.

Biggish box of grass seed (1kg I think) down from 15.99 to 2.09. Just got two in Tesco Clearwater Dublin About 6 boxes left. Down the aisle where the car stuff is.

Lidl are doing 3 bare root fruit trees at the moment for €20.
They had cherry and peach were I was. i got 3 cherry trees.:)

Friendly advice: buy seeds from a Garden Centre.
And, if possible, organic certified seeds, leave all those lab hybrids for somebody else !

It depends on how big the lawn is, and how long an extension lead you have - it's not battery-powered, from what I can see.
