In '87, Huey released this, Fore, their most accomplished album. I think their undisputed masterpiece is "Hip to be Square", a song so catchy, most people probably don't listen to the lyrics. But they should, because it's not just about the pleasures of conformity, and the importance of trends, it's also a personal statement about the band itself.

    Talking heads - heaven

This song will bring you tears of sadness and joy at the same time
    Always an amazing experience

I was listening to it one morning on the way to an anniversary mass down the country
i hadn't listened to it in a very long time
While it was on we passed a hairdressers called "talking heads", that was cool

Then the priest started the mass with "heaven is a place....." which is the first line of the chorus, myself and my partner looked at each other
    I love a good coincidence

Anyway, it's my happy song cos I everytime I hear it, i am just so blown away that people can create something so beautiful. Always feel happy during and afterwards

Going to listen to it now
    Goodnight

There are song classics on this thread
Most of music I love wouldn't really be considered happy although it makes me feel good.

If I was to name one song as my happy song it would be:
    Are you In - Incubus

    Happy Songs...

Fight like a brave by red hot chilli peppers.
I'd just discovered the album that summer and had my first part time job at 16 I had money and every day we all would do something different
Swimming one day camping the next the beach the next the summer pardon the cringy statement lasted forever.
Now we all have jobs and some of us have kids so there's no such thing as summer
So you can see why when I hear that song or anything from that album it's my favourite happy song.
A late entry into the foray is dirty work by steely Dan for no reason other than it sounds good.

Oh are we going serious happy.:pac:

If I won a million euro it would be.

If I won 100 thousand it would be.

When I come in from a tough day's work and am content and want to chill.
    Which is more likely it's.
