Lee Elder was the first black golf player to compete in the masters, far as I know? (Glued to it the past few days :) )

On the same theme, "No Tigers in Africa" was a book by an Irishman published in 1986. The title was the P.S. in a letter to the author - from whom?

    No answer given yet.

If Rory had won the Masters this year, he would have become the sixth player to complete the Grand Slam of major championships.

Who are the 5 players to have done so to date?

    Jack Niklaus
    Gary Player
    Tiger Woods
    Karrie Webb
    Annika Sorenstam :)

Ha, very clever. Not the answer I was looking for but technically correct all the same! I will rephrase the question to be clearer, although I expect your forthcoming answer to be swift and correct! :D

What 5 male players have previously completed the Career Grand Slam by winning the Masters, US Open, British Open and the PGA Championship? :P

Actually I'm unable provide to a swift and correct answer. Bobby Jones springs to mind but I think that his prime preceded the Masters. I don't think Arnie managed it nor Seve. Would Gene Sarazan be one?

    Jack Niklaus
    Gary Player
    Tiger Woods
    Gene Sarazen

All correct above. Missing 1 - will leave question open until tonight.

Correct also on Bobby Jones - he was pre-Masters when the grand slam was (I think) the British and PGA opens and the respective European and US amateur championships. Posting from phone so will verify this later also. Not sure what the actual names on the championships were.

It must be somewhere between the North and South Pacific oceans and roughly halfway between Indonesia and Colombia.

Where that is, I have no idea :D

Only one I can guess is Hawaii, but thats not a country per se....
