    One more question lads.
Any special way to treat the battery for the first few cycles? Let it drain completely before recharging or does that not make any difference in this day and age?

That isn't necessary for modern batteries. Charge it as you please.

Dash charge is amazing, Id usually let mine run down very low since it can be charged up so fast.

Thanks for that. The dash charging really is fantastic.

I have to say I'm finding the transition from iOS to Android pretty easy so far.

The phone is great so far. The bigger screen will take a while to get used to.

I did the OS update via VPN today. During a phone call afterwards my ear seemed to be activating the screen and going in/out of things etc.

Someone else reported something similar from this update.

    Is there a fix?

    Hey guys,

Looking at upgrading from an LG G2 at the mo and kind of stuck between the One Plus3T and Galaxy S7. Is the 3T comparable as a high end phone? I'd be hoping to get a pretty good camera on the phone but price would be important too. Thanks

If you are looking for camera get S7. Its better than OP3T.

Everything else OP3T. Not saying OP3T camera is bad. I am quite happy with it but S7 camera is a a bit better.

Guys this may be more an Android question in general but, is there a way to get notifications for all emails in gmail?

At the moment I am only getting notifications for the general emails and not the ones that are classed as social or promotions.

Cheers for that. I might be kind of leaning towards the Samsung just because it sounds more reputable. Anybody have any issues with One Plus support?

The camera on the OnePlus 3 isn't that bad. Is it worth shelling out hundreds more for a S7 - that's the question only you can answer.

Yeah if your going to shell out another €400-€500 for the sake of a better camera only wel then buy a camera!!

Cheers. Eventually figur d it out. Gmail seemed to automatically divide up my emails in the last few months. It wasn't my choice so I've no problem having them all under the one.

Sorry for all the questions but I have one more.

On my email icons there are no numbers showing at all. So when a new email comes in I get a notification fine but there is no number showing on either of my email icons.

May be the same for the rest of the apps as well. Any suggestions?

I use Notifyer app. It's gives unread count. I also agree with other poster there about Nova Launcher, you can do a lot with it.

Thanks. Yeah may have a look at Nova launcher eventually. Just going to spend a week or two with the phone as it is and make sure I fully familiarise myself with Android.

Anybody having an issue where a lot of films aren't available in HD on Google Play Movies? I get the message "hd purchases will play in sd on this device". The same ones play in HD on my HTC One M8. What's the story with this?

Edit: though to be honest, I'm after renting one to test it out. HD on the One M8, SD on the OnePlus 3T. Holding the two beside each other, with my face uncomfortably close to the screen, I can just about tell the difference in detail. At a normal viewing distance, I can't And the OnePlus's much brighter screen more than cancels it out anyway. Still, I'm curious, if anyone can shed any light on it for me.

Is anyone else having issues adding an UlsterBank card to Android Pay? I was onto UB this afternoon and they said everything was good their end and there is nothing wrong with the card. I get as far as accepting the UB Ts&Cs, then it says "Unable to add card, contact UB"
UlsterBanks said it looks like the card is being added, and then deleted right away.

No, it's an Irish UB. According to the Android Pay team here, it should be working

Hmm... I presume the Customer Service must have assumed I was in the UK, though I'm not sure how if they have all my details in front of them.

Thanks for the info anyway. I'm sure it will come to Ireland soon enough!

Probably this discussion should not belong in this thread, more one for Android Pay.

Anyway, it's possible that Ulster Bank are assuming you were signed up to Boon

Is there anyone here able to confirm if the OnePlus 3T works with contactless payment terminals using android pay and give details of where it has/hasn't worked for them? I have my card set up on android pay and it just says on the payment terminal that the card is unsupported, try another card.

AIB. The card was added to android pay successfully but never got it to work.

AIB worked for me no problem.

Is nfc on? Do you have a lock on the phone?

If these are both OK then maybe you should contact your branch. It could be the phone hardware but I doubt it.
