Got scalded today. Spent a total of 15 minutes outside the shed. Off to lanzarote tomorrow. God help me.

The brother made a hen coop today so I was winding up the 5yo and 10yo niece with names.

    Egg Sheran
    princess Laya
    Hen Solo
    Flewbacca
    Kylo Hen (Star Wars also)

I said they should get a duck and then it could be called Admiral Quackbar.

    Any other suggestions?

It was exciting alrite but the loudmouth morons that seem to make up most of the spectators spoil it a bit.

Do you just eat it as is or prepare it in a meal?

I'd know a little about the different plants but wouldn't have a big knowledge.
The most I'd know is nettles for minerals and that you can eat nasturcium flowers.:D

Eat it raw straight from the ditch, it's a bit tangy. Sorta like lemon but not as sour. Lovely made into a sauce similar to parsley sauce & eaten with fish.

Moving out more cattle earlier so ran in front of them to close a gate at the neighbours, out he comes and says he's going off in the car so not to close it. I assumed he'd wait in the gateway in the car like an intelligent person but noooooo, drove out straight in front of the cattle and sent them mad, broke through wire and ran down the meadow.
Last time I ever wash cow shíte off the road in front of his place, I'll feed them a nice dose of Zanil instead next time.

Just got the van insurance renewal there today. Went from €620 last year to €1100 this year and the crash had no affect on the policy I'm told. Jaysus the insurance companies really jacked up the prices

    Price around.
My jeep renewal in January went from €640 to €1200, rang around and got it for €680.

I can't figure why they're jacking prices up so much. I went online and the company that increased my policy to €1200 I could get an online quote for something like €750 using different address (dropped house name). Rang them and they couldn't explain it. The renewal price was non negotiable, I just hung up.

Heard on the radio yesterday that they're considering Another levi to pay for a regulator or some such ****e.

We'd the car insurance renewal quote arrive on Friday. €712. Herself rang around other companies and was able to get it for €474 or €520 Inc bonus protection. It's still worth ringing around.

I think vans were particularly hit in the recent price hike. There is no underlying reason for the price hike, despite what the industry said. The pressure downwards came off, because of Setanta failing and FBD in trouble.
