    Have they started doing bundles?

I got it using staff discount (not my staff discount, family members) so it wasn't a bundle per se. Happy enough with it though.

Sure that's a good thing. Don't we want our kids to be better than us. I lost my undefeated Connect 4 title to my 8 yr old recently - I was severely distracted at the time. Yep, had to have been something like that for me to lose. :P

Shame about the still crappy load times with Lego City on Switch. It's still the best Lego game out there even with that minor annoyance, certainly not 'crippling'.

Fecking horrible when's it's your younger brother though that's better than you.

Yep, you bundle your money together and they take it.

Thats true, I paid for it entirely in pennies.

Hope you had it sorted into bags of €2.74, to make it easier.

Sega Countdown Site Teases Bayonetta News Next Week
Could we be getting Bayonetta 3?

I would probably soil myself if Scalebound wound up on the Switch.

Edit: nope, it's a MS IP, but nothing to stop Platinum reworking it.

I would doubt it could be Bayonetta 3. Nintendo would surely hold that for E3, presuming it's not coming out anytime soon. It's more than likely something like a remaster for PS4/Xbox, something like that.

Well it's an image from Bayonetta 1 I think, so it's more than likely another Sega Steam release. Maybe on other consoles too but I doubt it's Bayonetta 3. They also had a PC release of 8-Bit Bayonetta for April Fool's with a link to this image buried in it.

I'd love it to be Bayonetta 3 though.

I take it no one tried the Just Dance demo available today :P

Took it for a spin this evening just out of curiosity demo wise. My rhythm is not what it used to be, it used to be shocking, now it's beyond redemption :pac:

Lego City Undercover On Nintendo Switch Doesn’t Fix The Game’s Crippling Load Times

Lego City Undercover Load Times Comparison (Switch VS Wii U)

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C0HK8fq7V2I

To load the games open world takes:

    64 seconds on Wii U

    vs

    51 seconds on Switch.

    Yikes!

saw this somewhere last night but cant find it now , seemingly the switch loads faster than the ps4 and xbone for this  xbone being the slowest ,no idea how it compares to the wiiu though :pac:

Considering getting the switch this weekend. Would be grateful if you could answer my questions.

Are people satisfied with the console in general?

Can anybody recommend any good value bundles or deals that are out there?

Is Fast Racing Rmx worth it for the Switch? Thinking of picking it up for 4 player split screen until Mario Kart comes out.

    Thanks!

Console is great, lots of fun. It's very neat in its design and function and solid enough that it feels worth your money.

I don't know about any deals myself. I know Smyths knocked a few euro off the price of the console and Zelda on release but I'd check with them to see if it's still on. The only real difference I can see is some retailers have different prices on the games themselves.

Fast Racing RMX looks pretty good and people on here have liked it. Mario Kart is out on the 28th of this month so not too far away. If you're a Zelda fan and you get it, that time will fly.

Absolutely satisfied with it and I couldn't recommend Fast RMX enough. To me, it's the best future racer since F-Zero GX on the Gamecube - an absolute steal at €20.

The story today that estimates production cost of a Switch at $257 per unit will hopefully dispel some of the feeling that Nintendo were artificially creating stock shortages.
It's understandable they were worried about loads of these sitting unsold in stores everywhere, it would have been a financial disaster

Not Switch related but random Zelda reference in the latest episode of TMNT that I'm watching. As bad guy is escaping down a corridor on a flying chair you hear the poe laugh from the Forest Temple from Ocarina of Time.

Not hugely surprised by that, Xbox isn't popular at all over there. In fact, it would probably be a bit disappointing to the Japanese gaming public if they'd said the opposite.

Nice to hear all the same, I'd love to see FF on this system

It's Bloomberg so when they talk you kind of have to listen. There's a lot of data at the link.

Nintendo Traders Signal Switch Could Be Bigger Hit Than the Wii

Here's a quick look at Switch sales estimates for the fiscal year through March 2018:

    5 million Jefferies (April 5)
6.5 million Bank of America (March 23)
7.5 million SMBC Nikko (April 6)
    10 million Mizuho (March 21)
13 to 16 million Ace Institute Research (March 21)

I was there in earlier this year, was a great buzz in the store.
I really liked the Little Museum section where it has all the consoles from start to finish in the glass case.

Anyone get lego undercover today ?.

I am thinking about getting it on my lunch but just dont know will i like it or not as 50 euros is quite a lot for a game.

Rise of the Tomb Raider is 25 euros for the PS4 i might have played it once before when it came out and I am thinking of getting that ..... to add to my pile of shame :P

Getting atrocious feedback on reddit. This would have sold the system for me if it was decent.

I wouldn't be paying 50 notes for a 4 year old port, bollocks I reckon.

The battery life of the pro controller is great! Have only had to charge it twice since getting it on launch day and the second charge was only yesterday.

It really is noticeable compared to my PS4 controllers which have to be charged up to 2 to 3 times a week.

That's an interesting article sligeach, but I think we should also consider Super Mario Run releasing on android and the Classic NES sales as well. While I'd love to see Switch clear 100 million sales it's still hugely optimistic to believe it will.
Let's see how the markets react in the days after April 27th. Nintendo's own forecasts have been way off in the past, remember this?
Nintendo this business year now expects an operating loss of 35 billion yen ($335.76 million) compared with an initial forecast for a 100 billion yen profit. The new estimate also falls drastically short of the average forecast of a 54.7 billion yen profit in a survey of 18 analysts by Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S.
    http://www.reuters.com/article/us-nintendo-earnings-idUSBREA0G09M20140117

Let's see. Wii U sold out everywhere for the first 6 weeks or so, then collapsed after Christmas. We can take encouragement from the fact that there's no holiday period this time boosting sales figures and (Ireland aside), demand seems strong despite limited games announcements. Nintendo need to take advantage of this and keep interest high. E3 can't come around quickly enough
